Default UFC 78 NOVEMBER 17: Michael Bisping vs. Rashad Evans thoughts on this fight and entire card...
Bisping is sitting at +235 at a few books right now and I think that is a good number to play. I believe he has a big advantage in submissions and also possesses the better striking. Some people point to the Hamill fight as reason to play against Bisping but Hamill is bigger than Evans who will look to use the same game plan but will not have the power he needs to hold down Bisping.

Could be a damn good Main Event but I am taking Bisping as I think he is the better all around fighter.

I think this fight will be close but I have Bisping penciled in at around +130/+140 so IMO +235 is a steal.

Also take a hard look at Karo Parisyan anything under -300...

I will get up my entire sheet when numbers are released all around..

Might be the worst card I have ever seen but considering they are shoveling at us 20 events per year now the lack of quality is not surprising

You know the card is nothing but an Ultimate Fight Night but the Fisher/Edgar fight will be very good and Parisyan and Houston Alexander should provide some interesting finishes.

lol, U made me spit out my soda ...... on an otherwise miserable day of moving into a new house....

Moving is almost as shitty a feeling as needing the last couple MNF underdogs to win...

Dude these numbers are horrible. It's irresponsible of him when numbers have been released other places that are just so much different..

Any good reads on the card so far? I am on quite a few dogs this weekend. Haven't been this dog heavy on a UFC show in quite a long time and we know how often dogs come in at a UFC..lol

Agree. Shouldnt be too hard to get to the right numbers fast when u see the ppl at the counter firing into you though.Imagine they get some really big square biz on fight nights.

I been cleaning up with Alexander since his UFC debut, but my gut tells me this is where ppl are gonna get caught speeding. Silva is tough and maybe smart enough to get the fight to the ground. Hoping it goes much higher.

I think Lytle, Fisher and Deorkson matchup well with their opponents too at + money.

Alexander has been a good earn for the guys who have played him both his fights. I went small when he fought Jardine back in May but the payout bought a nice night at the bar so I wouldn't mind seeing him pull down another victory. Purely spectator though as I see this being a dead heat.

Fisher scares me a bit. I like the aggressiveness of this kid Edgar. Think he has the takedown skills to put Fisher on his back and keep him there. Another thing that scares me about Fisher is that he is coming off the Staph. It's been a couple of months but I just think this illness takes a lot out of these guys.

Some of these numbers I see being bet up at Cris just boggle my mind..

I can't understand how anyone could be feeling comfortable betting chalk on Buentello or Herman. Lots of dumb asses out their I guess. Just hope I am not one of them this weekend.

Overeem might be the bst 2 minute fighter in MMA, till he gasses. Seems to lack heart too. I think Alistars more gifted fighter than Paul, but doesnt have anywhere close to the heart Paul has. If Pauls not in shape, everything longer tahn 5 mins length will be gold to watch in this fight. I wouldnt bet Herman with freeplay moeny. Not a fan of Joe Dirt, but he can win here.

The fact that Buentello still has a job fighting HWY in MMA speaks volumes. He throws some decent combos but the guy obviously doesn't train for half his fights. Agree completely though that Overeem amazingly does have worse cardio than him...

How's action looked so far on the Main Event? You on either side?
