Amanda was smart to take Parvati with her, even though it didn't work out for her in the end. (Unless you count scoring Ozzie.) Cirie would have left Amanda in the dust. IMO Amanda would have received maybe 2 votes vs Cirie, similar to her goose-egg final 3 in the China Survivor series. Cirie might have flown under the radar challange-wise, being no physical threat whatsoever, but she played the game better than the rest imo. I thought she seemed very sincere in an interview accentuating the ordeal of everyday "survivor" life among the young snarks.
And even if they were screetchy bitches you have to admit they stratagized brilliantly against the men in those blindsides.
I watched the Thursday show tonight, and then the final and my ass can't take the reunion so I'll watch that tomorrow.

.... and that's why i love ya Minnow, you're totally objective

what floored me is that James won the $100k .... AGAIN.

he won the consolation prize last time too, and i thot for sure Ozzie would get it this time. James is a nice guy an all, but he really wasn't that interesting to watch, whereas Ozzie was constantly doing wild shit

so how much did Amanda get for 2nd place again, $300k?

Amanda is truly pathetic in arguing her case. Thought she could have won both times, but she just turned into a nothing at both final tribal councils after dominating the late challenges and having every advantage.

That said, the aptly-named Parvati Shallow is a joke as the winner. It's Survivor, not High School Election. Her only talent was to agree to fuck anybody, male or female. Plus there's something wrong with her bite. She looks like a bulldog.

Weak year, IMO, except for that poor sap Eric. I did like the idea of starting with four extra players and then making the show tough enough that four would wash out with injuries or inadequate stamina. Have wanted the show to become more difficult for some time. Only problem was, a couple of the washouts were among the better players, leaving a cast of apparent bisexuals to come down the home stretch.

BTW, did you hear James complain to Parvati "you just fluffed me a few times?" I didn't know what he meant, so I googled it.

Turns out it's a term from porno movies. The fluffer is the crewperson who's responsible for making sure the male lead has an erection. Apparently sometimes when they stop shooting for a while they need to make sure the guy's erection is the same degree of hardness when they start up again, for purposes of continuity.

How does a gravedigger know this stuff?

the only guy i saw eliminated, was that incredibly stupid one at the end...that was just an embarrassment to men throughout the entire world.

just knowing he exists, makes me sad.

i wish i had seen the finale, just to see what they had to say about that incredibly stupid assclown giving up his immunity idol at the end..what a fuckin moran.

CBS today announced the 18 castaways who will compete for the $1 million prize on the upcoming season of "Survivor: Gabon," and we're bringing you unprecedented access to all the sights and sounds, bumps and bruises, from our man on the scene, Gordon Holmes.

He spent more than a week on location, getting one-on-one interviews with all the "Survivor" hopefuls, and behind-the-scenes scoop from the producers, the crew and host Jeff Probst about what it takes to put together what is still one of the most watched reality shows on television as it enters its 17th season.

Keep scrolling down to find a quick introduction to each castaway, and video interviews from each of them as they landed in Africa and prepared to set off on what, for one of them, will be a $1 million journey.

Looks like the typical mix...click the link to see the bio's, pics and vids -
