Serves the GM right, he couldn't put his differences with Marty aside and now he's stuck with this turd.

Why fire him....he is doing exactly what a normal person would have expected. Every person on this board knew exactly what Norv would do, and none of us are being paid to be the GM of the Chargers. The problem is not Norv, it is the GM of the Chargers and that fuktard Spanos. They are getting what they deserve...and that hurts since I am a Chargers fan.

why is this all norv's fault?

Is it Norv's fault Rivers has thrown 6 int's in 4 games? he threw 9 all of last season. LT's getting his touches, O-line isn't getting the job done. Also they have NO WR's Vincent Jackson isn't scaring any defense as a #1 wideout

People don't seem to realize that this team over achieved to the max last season, this is only Rivers' 2nd full season as QB, maybe he isn't as good as anyone has blown him to be.

to put the blame only on norv is ridiculous

There's a reason Norv has the record he has. It's no accident, and not a confluence of bad luck that's causing it to happen again.
Rivers does stink, as do their WR's, but Cameron was able to formulate game plans that played to what he and they could do.

Part of a coach's job is to get his team mentally prepared to play, and Norv's teams have a nasty habit of coming up flat in big games. With the personnel pretty much the same as last year, much-but not all-of the blame must be laid at his door. But the powers that be will rarely be willing to admit they've made this big a mistake, this early, for so much money-witness Lovee almost waiting till the water reached his upper lip before jettisoning HIS dead weight, namely Rex the (non) Wonder Dog...

team goes 14-2 under one of the greatest coaches of all time, what do you? Of course, fire him! One of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen.

I like how they had LT in a rythm and just decided to stop useing him in the second half. We all know how good coaches like to abandon what is working lol.

Bad call! Why F with your team so much?
First Drew brees, now this is shocking. They totally screwed Marty by waiting so long to. This team needs some stability. Its so hard to get good in the NFL, when you are there, you need to stay there.
