| Not your typical question, but here it is I am in a league with 11 other friends. i am he commissioner, and we have our draft in late august. I am trying to thinkof a way to set the draft order without me arbitrarily picking it. Anyone have any ideas? We cant go by last years order, b/c there are 2 new entrants. And the people are locted all over the US, so no possibility of getting together.

| Draw cards or blind draw (numbers in your Nittany Lion hat will do)

| We are assuming that they don't trust you to randomly draw numbers? Do this. Tell everyone to send you a number between 1 and 100. Tell them what your number is up front so they know you didn't pick after knowing everyone else's number. Then, divide everyone's number by the total of all the numbers and multiply that by 1000. Now chop off everything to the left of the decimal. The ranking of the decimal you have left is the draft order. Hey, you wanted random. | Find a horse race with 12 horses in it. Assign each person by a horse in alphabetical order (Frank Aaron would get horse 1, Ted Zippo would get horse 12). Set your draft order according to their finishing order. |

and make sure you pick a race where your name happens to correspond with the 1/9 chalk if you go with this method. |
