BURR RIDGE, Ill. (AP) - New York Knicks forward Eddy Curry says this morning's robbery at gunpoint inside his Burr Ridge home was a traumatic experience.
Curry made the comments in a statement from the Knicks today. The Knicks say they are aware of the situation and thankful that everyone is safe.
Deputy Chief of Police John Madden says three masked robbers broke into Curry's suburban Chicago home and held his family and an employee at gunpoint.
The alleged offenders used duct tape to restrain Curry, his family and an employee.
Authorities say no one was injured in the incident.
The three robbers made off with cash and jewelry. The value was not disclosed.
Madden says police believe it was not a random incident. Authorities declined to give further details. |
