Industry insiders have confirmed that NETeller will announce on Monday that American customers can request withdrawals from that date forward. The announcement comes on the heels of NETeller's resumption of stock trading on AIM. NETeller's share price rose sharply following the resumption of trading indicating that investors believe it has a strong future in European and Asian markets.

Badly worded title on my part. It should have said "NETeller will announce Americans can start asking for withdrawals as of Monday." Bottom line, you should be able to start getting money back as of tomorrow.

My understanding is that Neteller will be sending emails out on Monday to your email address on file when the withdrawal feature is enabled.

The funds are currently in a US bank.

I don't think you have to accept the liablility release.
I refused and it still sent me to the withdraw funds page which it processed.

Distribution Plan implemented today

Monday, 30 July 2007 – NETELLER Plc (LSE: NLR), the independent global online payments business, today announced that US customers now have access to their accounts online to request the withdrawal of funds.

As described in the Company's announcement of 4 June 2007, under the Distribution Plan agreed to with the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, US customers will be able to commence the process to achieve a return of their funds currently within their NETELLER e-wallets.

US customers will be able to access their NETELLER accounts online until 26 January 2008 and make a request for their funds. In accordance with NETELLER’s Terms of Use, no interest on account balances will be paid. NETELLER will not charge fees to customers to process requests for funds. Funds will be distributed either by electronic transfer to the bank account on record with NETELLER or by a cheque to be sent to a mailing address as confirmed by the customer. If a US customer has a bank account already registered with NETELLER, funds transfer will be by electronic transfer subject to confirmation by the customer that the registered bank account remains valid. US customers will receive the entire balance of funds in their account; no requests for partial payments will be processed. US customers cannot use their accounts for any transaction other than to request the funds.

Just did my withdraw. All my Neteller withdraws in the past hit my account the following day, so hopefully its the same.

Crony, did you they still send the funds even though you didn't accept it? Why would they have it, if you don't have to agree to it? I didn't think that anything was too objectionable. Just out of curiosity why did you not agree to it?

I'm thinking the release relates to two things... you agree not to sue them because they breached their confidentiality policy when they turned records over to the DOJ... and you agree not to sue them for 6 months worth of interest on your account balance.

BTW, my EFT now shows a status of Pending... sometimes it used to take a full 24 hours for that to happen... an EFT to switch over from a Cancel button to a Pending status.
