Default Here is a good one. And a note from Rog to writers

If you have a low hanging Cable that leads to your house be careful on trash day.

If any of the writers need to get in tough with ROG he will be back and running tomorrow afternoon hopefully.

When they picked up the trash today they snappped his cable in the frontloader jaws and just drove merrily on their way.

LOL

Gotta suck, but, still pretty damn funny...

I can just see the trash truck rolling down the road, snapping cable off a house, utility pole, etc...

Rog sitting at the comp, trying to figure out wtf just happened....

He said he heard the truck. Then noticed within about 30 seconds his cable was down. He goes outside and those guys are already down the block.

I guess it happened on a good day if any.

how the Hell do the trucks get that close to lines to begin with?

think it's pretty much impossible here really..i mean, they are on the right hand side of the road, and the line goes from the pole on that side, to the house.

unless they drove across the yard, i can't see how it happens..

i'm guessing the houses it happens to, the line is running from the opposite side of the street?

yea, old house with low-hanging wires going across the street

normally no problem but when every once in a while when those big trucks come through they can knock it down

I'm back up fellas. And yes, the wire is about 20 feet up in the air and runs from my house to across the street. When they lifted up some tree branches to dump them in the top of the huge truck they snapped the wire---UGH.

But at least they came this morn to fix it. I called at 3:00pm yesterday, so less than 24 hours turnaround was great for the behemoth that is Comcast.
