Default Apple iPhone .......... (online gambling in the palm of your hand)

For all you "tech" guys out there......this is the device to have. Cell Phone - iPod (music, photos and movies) and Internet (online gambling - real-time) - all in the palm your hand!!! I'm all in on this one!

Apple does not use a windows mobile type browser Son which will make it incompatible with many sites and does not have pocket internet explorer. I like phones that use the pocket internet explorer.

Still getting one though, I figure if I sell my SK and my Ipod I can afford one. Wonder if it will work with Tmobile service even though At&t is the only retailer

sorry to jump in at this point; but, what the hell....

being an 'open source' kinda guy, it was interesting to see the "ALPHA' open office release today...

the operativer word is "alpha"
not beta

i like the codiciles!!!

"Nearly 6 years after announcing a Mac port, OpenOffice.org has released the first release of OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X that can finally run without X11!! An alpha is available for download today, but a lot of help is still needed to make OpenOffice.org available for Mac OS X. The site is very blunt: 'WARNING: THIS SOFTWARE MAY CRASH AND MAY DESTROY YOUR DATA DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE FOR REAL WORK IN A PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT. This is an alpha test version so that developers and users can find out what works and not, and make comments on how to improve it.' Currently missing functionality includes printing, pdf export, copy/pasting, and multiple monitors. That said, if you're interested in participating you can visit the Mac team to figure out how you can help today."

no copy, no paste; but, that is why it is alpha...

good luck all

i will stick with the new treo.

seems more of a multimedia phone for video, pictures and music.

i need more of a pda than something that holds 10,000 songs and pictures and displays them in a "cool" way".

Just picked up a BlackBerry Curve today. Very nice. Treos are a bit too bulky.
