ayep, another beauteous day here too. at a loss what to do today tho. got my little projects prettymuch all completed. only have to sand rust outta the pickup box, but aint too enthused about doing that?

only game on is NFLTv this evening, Bills@Colts. i like Bills +5˝

guess i'll ride the cycle along the river a bit ....

Morning Kool. Well you can have some of our rain.

It is overcast here now and supposed to rain. But then again it is Monday and it rains every Monday here as of the last two months it seems.

morning troops.

well, had a shock the other day. a cop that i was friendly with here in town died from Hantavirus. saw his picture in the paper with the headline he was buried when i was buying gas. he was only 35.

seems he caught the virus at the firing range where they practice. they kept the targets in a little 40/yo shed and i'm told they knew that mice were crappin/pissin all over the place but never did anything about cleaning it up.

well, i bet if his wife sues the bejeebus outta the city, they'll clean it up.

the funny part is a month ago i was telling the gal at the storage sheds where i had my mom's things stored for awhile, that she should be careful because of the virus when she's cleaning them out. she laughed at me sayin that aint gonna happen, and probably was thinkin i'm a crazy old man. wonder what she thinks now?

anyways, it's a beautiful day above ground here today! think i'm gonna clean the rust off the pickup box.

I couldn't help myself guys

after that cycle run the other day i decided to take the money i made off selling the Toyota and i'm trading in my little cycle for this bigger V-Star 650 Classic, they're gonna knock half off for my trade-in so i cant really say no ...

i want to ride more now that i'm lucky enuff to have the time in retirement, and the little cycle just vibrates too much, damn near rattles my false teeth loose

gonna get this puppy and knowin me i'll probably drive it in the winter. has a big windscreen too so i don't get bugs on my teeth

i'll def be careful Pappy. i've slowed down alot in the last 10/yrs

plus this is a big bike so people see you better, hear you too, it sounds just like a Harley, actually they sued Yamaha because they felt they stole their "sound" (judge threw that one out)

not sure about that roof, it is weird tho ....
