Good start to the day but its early.

GE here I come.
Stevo, please take a close look at GE, I thought of you today when perusing Jim Sinclair's website, when I came across this comment:

Jim Sinclair's Commentary

It is being reported today that many hedge funds that had been clients and used the facilities of Lehman are in trouble and may close down.

The translation of that is that when bankruptcy of one side of an OTC derivative fails then Notional Value becomes Total Value, a fact no one seems to have focused on when the Fed walked away from Lehman. Walking away from Lehman was in order to send a message. The message appears to have been "Holy S**t!"

GE is yet to own up to the fact that their problem is OTC derivatives. They were a major player.

If they have a problem with derivatives you'll never know it until its way too late. Be careful

BG, did Buffett get a preferential buy like he did with Goldman or did he buy on he open market?
GE could be a great buy, I only bring it up because Jim Sinclair has proven to have a good read on the inner workings of the market. I know stevo is a pretty sharp cat, but I would feel remiss if I didn't at least give a heads up, take it for what its worth.

Thx D.G. I'll go take a look. Getting that itch. If we hit 10k and get under that its automatic.

But 22 may be good enough.

it is worth noting that they just passed the 10 year low and are still heading downward

on second thought, i'll wait to buy until they flatten out a little bit. don't like taking things on the downswing

You cant hit the bottom of every stock just like you cant get the best price everytime on a game.

Its a longterm investment for me. If 10 years from now its isnt above 22 I'll eat your oldest sweatiest Boston cap

But will wait for tomorrow and am watch very closely.
