Default Mikey Cash, CZ are you giving up on Lost?

I am getting really frustrated with this show.. weren't they suppose to answer 3 major questions tonight?

Is the meaning of Jacks tattoos really a major question? is Cindy's answer of "we watch" suppose to satisfy the question of the others?

Did Jack's flashbacks do anything but waste time tonight?
the interaction between Sawyer and Kate is brutally mind numbing

why are the others moving back "home"? are they afraid the losties are going to climb into that boat that seats 4 and come kill them?

"what happened to Ana Lucia"? are you kidding me?

Haven't seen tonight's show yet. After bitching about the direction of the show here a few days ago, I really liked last week's episode. Maybe they should just write off the main characters and build a new plotline around Desmond.

I think Lost viewers are being "punked" by the writers. The show had a great hook in the first half-season or so that left everyone clamoring for answers and explanations. I think there were no answers to most of the central mysteries of the show and the "answers" they reveal sporadicly now were written after the fact to mildly appease viewers. It's easier to write intriguing story lines and fantastic mysteries if you never have to provide plausible outcomes and explanations.

I'm in a unique position where I don't usually wait for the show to see what happens. I waste a considerable amount of time reading spoilers for future episodes on the web. While last nights episode wasn't emmy award material it did tie up some loose ends as well as show another little glimpse of life as an other. And as usual it opened up some more questions which will be answered down the road.

I am a big picture kinda guy and like I said, this didn't have a huge piece of entertainment value tonight but it went a long way to filling in some parts of the original story as well as setting some storylines up moving forward.

Regarding why they are moving back I figure it's because now Kate and Sawyer can and will lead them back to that island and it saves a whole lot of confrontation to just go back to their village which nobody even knows exists. I also think that there are more to Jack's tattoo story then what was revealed tonight. Bai Ling is on some other episodes coming up so I think we just scratched the surface on that. I was a little annoyed that they let Karl go with only asking him a few questions. I have to say overall that is what annoys me most is that the characters don't question anything enough. When given the opportunities they either don't ask anything or they ask questions that me as a viewer could care less about.

Not giving up just yet though, I think my personal turning point will be when we find out why locke was in a wheelchair. If that story doesn't blow me away I may jump the shark

another week same BS 58 minutes of useless garbage 2 minutes of intrigue

lets review what we learned tonight:

-hurleys mom needs some lovin

-pre-crash hurley carried 10 dimes around in his pocket

-there is an old car on the island that they just discovered now and apparently it's only a few minutes away from their location on the beach

-jin is hooked on phonics, hurley is a jumbotron

-Tricia Tanaka is dead

-by getting the car running hurley has broken his curse and all is now swell

Gotta agree this one was kinda bland. That is the problem with having all these back stories, at some point you have to address them and what you get isn't always as exciting as what you expected.

This episode did however explain a few things if you missed it. First, Randy is obviously Locke's boss because Mr Clucks blew up and Hurley gave him a job at the box company. Next is Roger from the van, he had a Swan station logo on his uni so was this Kelvins replacement that never made it?

Next week looks promising though. We meet patchy and the abc preview info says that we learn the relationship between Dharma and the others. Also looks like Locke does something he shouldn't of

I'm hangin in there but just barely

the constant flash-back shit was what killed my interest in it the 1st season.. shit just drove me nuts.

can't believe nothing has changed since then.

Today was the first Thursday in 6 months I was happy all day.

best episode of the season by a mile and next week's looks great too, maybe they've finally turned the corner and are back on the right track.

Definitely a good episode. We finally got to another station and found out that they are all connected underground (at least were at one time). Too bad stupid ass locke blew the place up, I would of liked to see what was in the Dharma operations manual. The previews for next week looked cool too, I can't wait to see that invisible fence dealio.

Sorry for the late reply I am on vacation with the fam and have limited internet.

PASS, I read the spoilers at some points last season and I found it ruined it for me, someone I know already spoiled the "sibling" thing that we apparently find out tonight... even though I think it was kind of obvious last season :)
