Default Unauthorized Transfer from my Neteller Account!

It looks like someone went into my account and is transferring money

Someone transferred $10 to a casino. It worked.

Then he tried to transfer $1000 to another casino and it was declined because I had less than $1000 left. Then he tried $500 and it worked because I had $522 left at that point.

Then he tried $300, $200, $100, and it did not work. I went into my account to see what was going on.

Then half an hour later I got another e-mail from Neteller telling me that I had transferred $20. The guy had tried $50, $40 and it got declined, until he tried $20.

I know of one other person to which this happened today.

Anybody else?

E-mailed Neteller after each of the three transfers, got no answer yet. Called them but nobody is picking up the phone. The line gets cut off after a while on hold.

Happened to me 2 weeks ago, there were a few threads around here about it... You're probably shit outta luck, neteller doesn't give a damn. They will lock your account, tell you they are investigating and you won't likely hear back from them.

Try to contact the merchant the money went to right away and see if they can block the account before it's spent. Most likely a poker site and the money's already changed hands by now.

Perhaps my old email pals at NT Fraud and Security, Messrs Danny and Holden, decided to opt for early "retirement" and cash out their 401k's.

I think you can stick a knife (no pun or death threat intended) in NETeller. They are done like medium rare steak.

Thanks DG.

Called the merchant and they said Neteller has to contact them, not me. Problem is Neteller is not answering phones or e-mails.

The merchant is to indemnify neteller against this if they use the direct deposit to the site from Neteller. They do it for ease and speed and in return do not hold Neteller liable for amounts less than 1000. What a mess this is going to be. We can thank people like AK and others for stealing and selling the databases. And people are critical of me trying to stop him from doing what he does. All in the name of free speech????. Well folks, now is the time to use it to complain about having your money stolen and thank the other that allowed him to do what he does. Maybe they will help you get your money back.

This whole industry has come full circle.

Thanks Russ. Mansion is the casino that received $500 and $20 from my Neteller account. 10bet was the intial one who got $10. I had never heard of 10bet or Mansion.

Mansion does seem to use the direct deposit option from Neteller.

I did not even get a chance to go in my Neteller account to cancel pending withdrawals since they were made automatically.

Where can I find the info about the liability for amounts less than $1000? Do you have a link?

Thanks

this is so sad. This is just what the department of justice wants. Once they get the collapse going, they will have some shmucks believeing that what they( DOJ) are doing is actually a good and righteous act. I'm not defending neteller's current passe attitude to it's u.s customers but it is definately a mortally wounded animal. What ticks me off is i absolutely loved this company. Every single transaction i used with them over the last 6 years ( and there were close to a 1000 of them) was done swiftly, and compentently and the features of instacash (essentially good faith short term credit) was incredibly helpful. This instacash was available to all members as well, no FICO scores needed or bs hoops to jump through. Transfering money from pokersites to sportsbooks took seconds. Money in your checking account in 2 days. And no customer fees, all costs absorbed by the merchant. And the phone support used to be outstanding. As their funural nears, please remember what a great company this was and still would have been if the US attorney's office and their nazi DOJ stormtroopers had not attacked them with such intensity. Don't ever let your anger towards the true villians soften because that's what they're hoping for.

Tried calling Neteller about 10 times in the last 2 hours - no answer.

E-mailed vip@neteller.com, we'll see if they e-mail or call me back.

This 10bet thing is ridiculous. Can't they put something in place to track who is doing these $10 transfers? And the subsequent transfers to other casinos. Tracking the culprit(s) should be very easy to do.

Betmore, you will not find a link. Its just something I know. Do what Freak says and fire off a letter. Barring that, send me an email at russ@ and I will try and help you.

This is not employees. This is people who have all these stolen lists using all the info contained within them.

Go AK go. It's just just fun and games...all in the name of free speech!!!!!

It's been 20 minutes since I e-mailed vip@neteller.com and still nothing. The money in the Mansion account must be long gone.

I am surprised Mansion refused to investigate this quickly when I called them and sent them a screen shot of my Neteller account while we were on the phone. The guy had probably not had time to "lose" the money to a pal in a poker game.

Russ: I will e-mail you my Neteller screen shot.

Thanks for the help

How can you be so sure it's not an inside job? Have you seen neteller secure id's on any of usual dabatases that get out on the market?

This scam cannot be done without the neteller id and neteller secure id, which make it an inside job, either at neteller or at one of the books.

Yes I have DG. I am amazed this didn't happen sooner. These lists contain everything in the players profile.

If that is the case, that is pure negligence on the behalf of the book. And I'm not talk about the employee stealing the list.

This info should not even be stored on the book's database. It should just be part of the piece of code Neteller provides the books with as a merchant.

Please let us know which books do this, I will stop playing with them today.

100% DG, but it is, and it has happened. I doubt that Neteller would have let this happen a few weeks ago but now that they are in complete disarray, I can see how it is happening.

Maybe some of the site owners that think letting AK and his ilk post all this shit might want to step up to the plate here and help out?

Fucking idiots.
