Unauthorized Transfer from my Neteller Account!

I just got off the phone with Neteller, took me all of 30 seconds to get in and speak with Margaret.

I am going to make a separate thread to help people protect their money.

Which number do you use? I used 1-888-258-5859. I get the message "higher than usual call volume"... then the menu selection comes up. "Stay on the line for next customer service agent". Then the menu comes back about three times. Then line cuts off. Just tried again - same result. I also tried 1-403-233-9466 but I get a voice mail that seems to be full.

Was able to get through - finally. The non-VIP phone numbers are useless at the moment.

The person I talked to - Margaret - was almost useless as well. She did give me a new secure ID, however she said there is nothing she can do about the money I lost, I have to e-mail investigations@neteller.com. It seems someone should have taken the situation with a little sense of urgency.

So I will just forward the same e-mails to that e-mail address and see what happens.

THe fact that neteller does not have a system in place to check rapid fire declined transfers in this day and age is absolutely and completely reprehensible.

How many shots they going to give the guy at BetMore's money? before something goes off? What they thinking guy is a complete fukkin moron with no idea what his account contains?

I think what is really reprehensible is the fact that this has been goin on for a few weeks now, and Neteller has done absolutely nothing.

marc, that really bothers me as well. Why are they not treating 10bet as a corrupt account and intercepting all debit requests to check over manually?

Neteller is doing NOTHING as far as I know to prevent this from happening again. When on the phone they pretend like it's not a wide-ranging situation when we all know it is. How many accounts have been accessed with this $10 request for 10bet? Must be in the hundreds.

It's been more than 24 hours and I have not received an answer to any of my numerous e-mails to them, including at least 3-4 to the vip e-mail and 2 to investigations@neteller.com.

The worst thing is that I was in front of my computer when the first scam withdrawal was made ($10 to 10bet). I immediately went into my account to see what was going on, I e-mailed back Neteller after I received the notice about the withdrawal, and I called them. If they had promptly handled my e-mail or if they had answered the phone (1-403 number or 1-888 number), they would have had time to lock my account before the next withdrawal was made ($500) about 20 minutes later.

I consider myself very lucky because less than one month ago I had several thousands in my Neteller account so $500 and change was what I would consider a low balance. Which got me thinking, let's say I had $6000 in my account yesterday. I would have seen $10 go, then $1000, then ... and see my account being scammed in front of me live, without being able to do anything about it because they don't answer the phone? What a joke this place has become.

If I had the vip phone number (1-877) earlier I guess someone would have picked up the phone, but I almost never contact Neteller, let alone for urgent matters, that I never needed to get a hold of any phone number besides those listed on their website.

Oh and what about Mansion, the place which received the last $520 from my account. I was on the phone with them less than 30 minutes after the transfer, and I e-mailed them the screen shot of my Neteller account for them to track who did this. If they acted promptly they would have had time to freeze the account before he blows the money in a poker game with a pal. And freeze the account of the person who won the money and will probably ask for a payout. I only got an acknowledgment that they are looking into it.

It's almost as if they don't care that fraud is going on.

I am actually more pi$$ed about Mansion and Neteller's inaction than I was yesterday about losing a few hundred dollars. This is just the beginning, I won't go quietly.

And 10bet. How many times do they need to see unauthorized $10 transfer requests (whether declined or accepted) from Neteller being they act? They must obviously be aware of the situation.

Is this only affecting Canadian accounts?
If the US as well maybe we can do the same thing and get our money out this way.
