I think I mentioned this before, but we have this kick ass skyline chili recipe. It is supposedly from the hotel in Cincinnati that came up with the original.

Anyway, Skyline chili, Blue Moon, a fire, all the kids back home.

Life is good.

2 years ago one of my kids said something about Spam so I bought some for him. We ate this stuff all the time growing up. He never did eat it. Today I pulled it out and said we were eating it tonight. We grilled some, fried some, even put some in biscuit dough like a pig in the blanket.

he said it was not as bad as he thought. I said it was not as good as I remembered.

a friend of mine from Chicago sent me some peppers and onions in a tomato sauce for Christmas. He said he puts in on meatball subs so my Scotch-Irish ass had to figure out how to make good meat balls.

I google this and that and come up with 100 different ways to do it. I'm talking to my daughter and she said her roommates grandmother is Italian and can't really speak English!! I get a recipe from her and, tada, delicious meatball subs at my house tonight.

Yeah, a bit of irony there. Also some irony in that I'm ranting about IN-GAME interviews, and long for the days of Keith Jackson, and so what do they do? They interview KEITH JACKSON, in-game. Lmao.

Had a killer Brick-fired pizza with Italian Sausage and Meatballs, Pesto Sauce, Spinach salad with Gorgonzola cheese and Bacon. Paired with an Ice-Cold IPA.

Then went to SCHEELS Sports store for a HUGE spending spree of some of my Survivor winnings. Told the kids and wife they could get whatever they wanted.
Two carts, loaded with Snowboard helmets, board, goggles, boots, soccer gear, basketball and hoop, sunglasses, put it in the cart was all you had to do.

Costco had a deal on St. Louis style ribs yesterday so I bought 4 racks and am working on them today. Let's hope they are good or I will be making a run to the local taco bell.

I do ribs on my rec tec smoker/grill using the 3-2-1 method, they turn out amazing. Anyone looking for a new smoker/grill I can't say enough good things about my rec tec and rec tec as a company. If I get an electric car I'll then have an electric car, electric smoker and electric lawn mower. Now I just need an electric boat!!!

I've been once and it was pretty good. My kids eat there more often than I do since it's close to campus.

I miss not being able to go to I Love NY Pizza for lunch.

chicken thighs are my go to protein these days. They are cheap and easy to grill.
