Usual Thanksgiving Day stuff except I am going to deep fry the turkey. I've done it a few times before, but its been a few years.

My father in law especially liked it, so this one is for him.

One pot of sausage, potato and cabbage and one really big pot of lentil and barley.

corned beef, grilled cabbage, potatoes and corn bread. Oh, and beer.

It's farmers market time downtown. daughter is home for a few weeks so she jumps in the jeep with me and my wife to drink coffee and watch all the street people perform.

Long story short, we come back with 4 big bags of more kinds of greens than I've ever heard of, some whole free range chickens, organic beef and goat.

Grilling the steaks tonight, chickens tomorrow, goat I'll save for football season. And salad, collards, kale and arugula. Love the arugula on a turkey, bacon and cheese sandwich by the way.
