Roasted a butternut squash in olive oil, salt and garlic, pureed it and made a dough out of it (yeast, warm water, 2 eggs, mixed in squash puree, one cup shortening melted, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder and kept adding flour till the dough was just beyond sticky), let rise, punched down, formed into 2 loaves and baked off on 360 for about 40 minutes, then brushed with a mix of butter and olive oil.

Got a whole bird roasting that I marinated in garlic/mayo and will chow down big time in about 15 minutes. Case of Molson in the garage.

Boooyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Trucker, wild boar is an amazing dish! Such terrific flavour! I had it several times in a stew. Also had it sauteed with onions and tomatoes. Fantastic! Never had it in sausage form though. How was it? How'd you cook it?

Z, I have 3 links. I ate one last night. It was like an Italian sausage or salami. I ate it on french bread like an appetizer. I enjoyed it but no one else in the house would touch it!!

Headed to the pan handle in the next few weeks and may add 1 to a shrimp boil like I would andouille sausage though it does not have the bite andouille has

Never had vienna sausages with eggs before. Only on cracker or slided on bread. I'll have to give it a try!
