Pretty much Minnow/ Once in a Blue Moon I will cook up a storm, but for the most part I let someone else cook.

that's how I do mine, I empty a packet of taco seasoning (the same stuff you would mix in with ground bf to make taco meat) onto an empty plate, then I dampen the chop with water and put it in the plate to coat it on one side then turn it over and do other side. Instead of the plate, you can put the seasoning in a plastic baggie and then put the chop in there and shake it to coat.

Once coated, just put the chops in a pan that had oil coating and cook on each side in pan.

O.k., i have the chops coated with the taco seasoning, but, now we are disagreeing on whay i'm supposed to do with them..

Am i not supposed to put oil in the pan to fry them? The way you put it, sounds like i am just pan roasting them, with a greased pan, not actually frying..Is that right?

Clevfan, you are a mental giant...

Seriously, that was 10x better than the ones i made Friday night...The taco seasoning is actually delicious on the pork chops..It kinda gives them a 'blackened' feel/taste to them, but, without the hot spice, just tons of flavor..

Made cheesy au gratin potatoes to go with them, and the whole thing turned out tasty as all Hell.....Actually, the potatos matched the chops perfectly...The cheesy hot au gratin with the spicy chops was a perfect damn fit...

In fact, i cooked all the remaining chops because i didn't wanna keep them thowed in the fridge any longer, and out of 6 big loin chops, i only have 1 left after the two of us eating lunch...lol

Thanks for the tip, that really was a Hell of an idea...

Chicken Fried Steak with cream gravy, fried chicken livers, fried chicken gizzards, fried okra, and cream corn with rolls and butter with sweet tea, all from the Black Eyed Pea! Oh and add some peach cobbler for dessert!
