| I made pot roast last night, with a huge fresh roast, red potatos, carrots and onions.......Wanted to try to add something to change up the flavor a bit, and so i followed my mothers advice and added 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup to it, once it had all cooked together for about 2 hours. Now, the taste really is amazingly good, but, holy shit does it smell funky this morning....Didn't notice it last night at all,. and i ate about 4 damn plates of it throughout the night...But, this morning i am heating it up for lunch, and i swear, it smells like baby shit.... The whole house is starting to smell like it now actually.....Like a fresh babys diaper... Is that the cream of mushroom soup doing that??Does that stuff usually smell funky after cooking for awhile? Kinda killing my damn appetite, smelling hot bootie juice... ![]() |

| Much, much better dinner tonight...Wife brought home 2 dinners from The French Pantry... She got the goat cheese, shrimp and artichoke heart bruschetta..with a garden salad.......And she got me the Bang Bang Shrimp, goat cheese and tomato bruschetta, and a bag of the cream cheese and chive stuffed french pastry rolls.. Hooooly shiat.... the bang bang shrimp is spicy as Hell, and incredibly flavorful...And both orders of bruschetta are mouth wateringly tasty...Cooked perfectly too, the bread is just toasted enough to keep from getting soggy, and just enough to add that bit of crunch to each bite... The bang bang shrimp though....this is one of the tastiest damn dishes i have ever eaten...Good God, what a meal.. ![]() |

| Picked up a bunch of stuff from Golden Corral last night, so we wouldn't have to cook anything for a day or two. Apparently, Wed night is seafood night, cause 90% of the hot items were shrimp and fish........ Golden Corral ain't the place for shrimp and fish...that shit sucked ass... ![]() |

| I usually can't stand 'dry rub' pork ribs, but, holy shit, these new ribs they have at Bono's are some of the best ribs i have ever eaten anywhere, of any kind.. 1st time i saw they had changed the way they prepared them, i was tempted to ask for a refund without even trying them, but, man oh man, i'm glad i gave them a shot... I've jus always assumed wet/sauced ribs were the only way to go....I pictured 'dry seasoned' ribs would be dry and gritty, and they just don't look appealing to me.... Even on the food network shows where they go to KC, Texas, etc., showing different rib cooking techniques and competitions, etc...I always thought the dry seasoned ribs looked bland and unappealing.......Now, i wanna fly to Texas this summer, just to hit a few of the BBQ festivals... ![]() |

The wife ordered 14 of the 'Jamaican Jerk' wings, and these are actually pretty good, but, not what i am used to at all, for jerk wings.....Aren't most 'Jamaican Jerk' wings broiled? These are fired just like buffalo wings, but, the seasoning actually is pretty damned good. |
