i tell you boys, i think i broke an all time record for calories in one day yesterday.. i dont know why but i always seem to have a great appetite during superbowl sunday. i went to a party a friend of mine had at his house and he had 8 different kinds of wings, 6 different pizza's, hot dogs, chips, fridge full of cokes and beers and lots of cake. I must've had about 64 wings, 3 slices of pizza, 1 hot dog, 7 cokes, and half a chocolate cake. Of course this was during a 8 hr span.. from 3 till 11...

but i will say this, i just dropped a deuce just 25 min ago.It was one of my greatest craps of all time.. i had to flush 3 times.. i almost had to use the plunger though, as the water creeped up to the top and almost overflown, but thankfully, all ended well.. could have been a nightmare.. but i feel 20 lbs lighter now.. and i will sleep like a baby tonight, all thanks to those great wings, that are now flowing in the St Lawrence river..

god bless super bowl sunday..

anyone hwere ever eaten at a "Big Al's Pizza"?

Wife talked me into trying them last night, and, surprisingly, that shit was delicious.

eating another reheated slice now, and, it just keeps getting tastier by the slice...

Was hesitant to try the place, casue it looked too much like a Loop, but featuring Pizza instead of burgers, if that makes sense...But, happy as Hell she talked me into it.

Even the anchovies are tasty...

I am stuck inside this friggin house with no vehicle, no wallet, and no decent damn food.

so, i have a question...

I have a pack of frozen bacon in the freezer, there is no expiration date anywhere that i can find, but, does it even matter? If it was frozen when we bought it, it should be good indefinitely, correct?

I've eaten bad bacon before, and don't really wanna go there again, but, this has been frozed since the day we bought it i think... And that should keep for like, years, right?

Actually, i do have chicken breasts in the fridge, but, i can't remember when i thawed those out, and bad chicken scares me more than bad bacon.

then again, if you fry chicken, that should kill any bacteria that may be there anyways, right?

frying chicken sounds like a hell out of alot of work though.

holy shit, this is gonna be a horrible day.

I guess i could call the wife, and ask her to read me my visa info do i can order a pizza, but, if i do, she'll probably figure out that i wasn't really too sick to go on the friggin canoe trip she is on.

Whole day to myself, and no fuckin wallet..

Actually screw the wallet, i'm just hungry dammit..

You're fine w/ the bacon. BLT's or bacon and melted cheese sanwiches(had one for breakfast) are great! DO NOT touch the bird

There has got to be a good story behind this one.

Just don't burn the house down.

blt would be sweet, but, no damn bread either..lol

smells good so far, so, i ain't worried..

the bird, i think i am trashing... was washing it off, and the skin felt all scruffy and odd..I pulled the skin off, and but the meat underneath is kinda yellowish, so, don't think i'll risk that one....It does smell ok though.

nah, no story really... i just left my wallet and keys in the blazer, and trish took my truck so she could haul the nieces up to Silver Springs.

Soon as she left, i got up to run to the store to get donuts, and realized how bad i had screwed up.

Then, i called Dominos to see if they had me CC info on file, and they said 'no, thats against store policy'...

so, i am screwed...i shoulda just gone on the friggin canoe trip, at least they have sammiches..

UB - if you go on that trip, then you don't gamble today, Son.....c'mon now, get the priorities back in line. You are just a little whacked from no food. Go mooch off of a neighbor or something, but get yourself together, we need you clear headed today. Or, at least as clear headed as you are capable of being.

BTW - leave both the bacon and chicken alone. Eat some cereal.

that sounds disgusting, but ya do whatcha gots'ta do

if the bacon aint over 6/mos frozen then i wouldn't worry about it. it's when you keep something frozen for a year that they become questionable .. or so my butcher told me awhile back.

Unc, you don't have a cash-stash anywheres in the house? not even a coin jar in the garage for beer? howza'bout under the chair/couch cushions? think man, THINK!

yeah, but, i ain't walkin to the store man, thats like, almost a mile.....I'd have to get dressed, put shoes on, etc..etc..

and, i ain't payin the pizza guy with quarters...

i'm full now anyways... a pack of bacon did the trick..

So, i have 2 packs of smokes, a half a bag of Chex Mix, and about a liter of Mountain Dew.....That should hold me till they get back..

we're gonna run to Golden Coral at around 4pm, to stock up on a shitload of goodies for the night..

If you get takeout there, they charge you by the pound, so, we can usually get 7 or 8 good sized ribeye's, a big ass pile of those thick mashed potatos and gravy, a bunch of fried chicked, roasted chicken, mac 'n cheese, bacon wrapped NY Strips, fried okra, corn on the cob, a few pork chops, chicken tenders, and 5 or six different deserts...all for about $50.00.....

And honestly, the ribeye steaks there are incredible...better than Outback, imo, and i love Outback.

Hell the amount of steaks we get are usually worth the $50.00..... the manager has gotta hate it when we pop in...

Bud Light, Portuguese wine, maybe a little hard stuff. And of course champagne on the victory. (I hope)
