 What really happened at Foxwoods
So I take the ninety minute drive down to Foxwoods with no idea what Bostongambler looked like, no idea who the Colemanator was, and only having seen Luke once about 12-18 months ago. Anyway, so I head over towards the poker room/race book and order a chicken fingers and root beer from the Deli. Needless to say, Luke and his henchman, Vassily, walk up to the bar about 15 minutes later. Luke wearing his traditional jeans, t-shirt, and sandals look with the fashionable sport coat over it. So they kick back a few beers and in walk some guy and shake both of their hands. This guy turns out to be BG – well let me tell you something this kid was wearing “Patriots” embroidered sweatpants with a Tom Brady official jersey – he looked like his mom just dressed him for kindergarten and had not gotten lucky since college.
So anyone they head off towards the smoke free casino and I am forced to gulp down the rest of my chicken fingers in about 30 seconds. I’m saying to myself, where the fukk is this Colemanator guy? Then it hits me, Luke is passing of Vassily as Coleman, which means that Vassily=Coleman and since Vassily barely speaks English, Coleman = Luke or Luke’s wife, Katerina. So they walk up to the craps table and BG cashes in for probably 3 or 4 hundred, which is a pretty respectable buy-in where I am from. Well “Coleman” reaches into this backpack he brought and hands Luke a roll of probably 5 dimes. I mean this is a $5 table and this kid is buying in for 1000x? Then BG noticed “Coleman” handing Luke the money I think he knew the gig was up and he was visibly uncomfortable. So BG is just getting warmed up and betting the don’t pass for the minimum and Luke was fukkin burying the pass. Some probably 23 year old Asian lovely must have held the nice for the next 40 minutes, hell I ever left the roulette table and got a slice of this roll. But BG kept betting the don’t while Luke has like $600 place 6/8 bets riding and full odds on nickel pass lines and she is killing them every roll. Conservatively Luke probably turned this 5k into 30-35k just on the one shooter. Poor BG cashed in for whatever he had left and that Asian girl left him broke.
Next thing you know Vassily, Luke, and BG are chatting, shake hands, and out of the backpack comes another stack of hundreds going straight into BG’s pocket. Well Luke pretty much stopped betting that that point and began drinking heavily and sexually harassing the poor cocktail waitresses while BG tried this hand at BJ. Now I could not tell what kind of cards he was getting from where I was playing roulette, but he was visibly upset. Well probably another 90 minutes passed and poor BG’s stack is pretty much down to 0. Luke must be 10 sambuca’s deep at this point and is bragging to anyone that will listen about how high a roller he is – especially anything under 25 with a C cup or better.
So poor BG busted out and he and Vassily went over in the corner to talk things over – best guess here was a payment schedule and how much the juice was going to be – I’d be curious to know if BG understood a fukkin word of it. I was more curious about our drunken mess, Luke who had wandered over to the roulette wheel. The kid reaches into his pockets and I believe (couldn’t tell the exact amounts) bet $1000 O/OO split and a 3k black bet – well this is well over the $5 table limits so the pit boss had to come over blah blah blah – needless to say this kid gets the OO to land just in time for BG to walk back over and say his goodbyes. Well not only did Luke not shake BG’s hand, he taunted him with his winnings, threw a $100 chip on the floor for “gas money and a new shirt”.
BG has not posted here much in the last 24 hours and I think the reason is pretty clear after this post. He is a sharp poster and I hope he decides to come back. |
