Default GamblersAvenue.com Official Statement

Today has been a very long and excruciating day, after a late Sunday evening. They say when it rains it pours and today just goes to show that those are wise words. We have been slammed in here and at other major forums, and I empathize with everyone not getting paid immediately. Hell I am getting the calls and I understand clearly. It is the correct way that a player gets paid for winning his bets and I have been here all day, and know Mike has as well on his end, in order to resolve an enormous run to our Neteller to fulfill this basic component of our industry. Take a bet, pay a bet.

As you already know someone cried WOLF, with all due understanding, but he provoked havoc and disarray with a great portion of our player base. Not only do we have to deal with paying people we also must deal with retaining their business through damage control. We understand this can be extremely stressing and obviously people will wish their funds out of an account immediately if possible. All payments pending are requests made today and we are tackling them one by one. For this reason, to many customers hours feel like days but we understand your consideration and haste and request you remain calm and objective.

I would have gladly responded on the forums all day, but my priority will always be the phone, then your emails, then the threads. Today it was impossible. This was like a brushfire and took our service by storm. From where I stand and what I know, GamblersAvenue.com is going no where. This business has thrived enough to be recognized as a good option with great service and I intend to continue and enforce this standard.

We understand this challenge will be faced and the waters should soon be back to normal. All payments pending should soon be taken care of and within the 24 hour period stated on our site. No one currently pending is beyond today’s requests. We will appreciate your further patience and understanding. We wish to express our desire to make it very clear that we intended to resolve this matter and remain an option for the public. This operation like many businesses before it has challenges to confront. Those will be met and resolved, always considering customer satisfaction. Once this issue is put to rest we will only prove that the positive opinion offered by many is real. We appreciate the concern of many in the forum and believe it to be just but please permit us to calm the waters and take care of the matter.
Good evening

Fredd

lots of apologies owed to gamblers avenue. the bashing should not have been tolerated.

their are no slow pay victims. the rumors, maybe or maybe not from good intentions, are slanderous and should not have been allowed without some substance or indication from SOMEONE that they were having trouble getting their money.

Cobra, let me ask you a question. Not related to GA.

When was the appropriate time to warn on Camelot? Aces Gold? NAB? I am interested what you consider an appropriate warning.

By the way I got a payout from Camelot (quickly too) shortly before they went under. Not saying GA is the same, just making the point that "quick payments"for some mean nothing. Sufficient funds to pay ALL requests is.

this is bullshit...they are simply buying time as they make their final travel arrangements. Its charlie, dell all over again. You could see the writing on the wall when they were in here and across the street begging for postups with their b.s "bonus promotions". They are just using what transpired on the boards as an excuse to stall for time till they dissapear for good. I warned the boards they could not even do a 2k western union withdrawal last month and i got flamed on the rx by fredd over it like it was just an error. These guys will be gone by thursday. mark my words

"This was like a brushfire and took our service by storm"

It is outrageous that you would use such an analogy when there are still thousands of Californians suffering from the recent wildfires. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Cobra's got enough egg on his face to make ommelettes for the whole board.

yesterday they were paying....I just got a payout a few days ago no problem.

It seemed like they were maybe taking an unfair hit.

I still have money there. I hope to get it.

Could somebody point me to the thread where GA confirmed that they are in financial trouble and/or are being bought?

As I thought.

It looks to me like we have a lot of speculation here. I'm not saying GA is solid or in dire shape.

Wouldn't it be nice for some sort of verification, like a person who can't get paid (and hasn't for over 48 hours), or a statement from GA about being bought out?

If the rumors are true, then I'll be the first to congratulate the person who started them and all the bandwagon jumpers. If they aren't true then those same people need to be dealt with. A run on a book isn't pleasant, even if they have the cash to stand it, because it costs them credibility and customers.

Has anybody not been paid for over 24 hours (and still isn't paid)? Has GA confirmed a buyout?

Midnight, I know of a few people that have not been paid. They do not wish to post it publicly.

A buyout is in the works.

Without the buyout there will be no more payouts.

These are the facts unfortunately.

Sting at Gamblers 911 reports the following:

11.04.03 (6:14 pm EST) - Gamblers Avenue announcement moved back to 9 pm EST or there about. They are just finalizing some paperwork. We would like to assure all players that your money is perfectly safe and we would not have brought them on board here if we thought otherwise

Alot of righteous indignation here.

I swear some of the people in this thread are too much. If on the Titanic they would have been the ones saying it was impossible for the ship to be sinking since she never sank before. It got us this far didnt it? Would be their indignant howls.
