Customer service reeks! I recently posted here and requested advice on offshore's, since I had been away for quite awhile. I ended up just posted up a small amount with Pinnacle. Yesterday, I was playing the ponies. Small exbx'x and tribx's at Suffolk. When trying to make my bets in the 6th (after previously making my bets in the 5th [which were accepted and the the password re-entered]), the java interface started to act funny. I was not able to make the bets for the 6th. I logged out and then back in to no avail. I subsequently used my local phonebet account for the rest of the suffolk card. When i logged back in to Pinnacle I noticed bets pending in the 4th, but no pending bets in the 5th ($50 exacta win). Of course, I could not find any trace of the bets. So, I sent an E-mail to customer service. I then placed a bet on the red sox. Later i went to log in and bet the night game. I receive a message that wagering has been suspended. Not my account specifically, but wagering has been suspended. I thought they might be having a problem, so I played with my local. This morning I call customer service. They tell me that I need to send an e-mail because their customer service does not talk directly to the customers. I think to myself you have to be f*cking kidding me! After I tell her that I did E-mail them yesterday, she asks for my information. She comes back and says my account was suspended because they responded to my e-mail and it bounced back saying my mailbox was full. Of course, if true how in the hell could I ever find this out simply via e-mails with them? She suggested that I send another. I went and cleared my Inbox and removed everything from the server. I had some e-mails between yesterday and this morning, so I don't think my mailbox was full, but I did that anyway. I sent an e-mail to myself which was received. I had a co-worker send me an e-mail which I received. I sent another e-mail before noon est. At 1 o'clock I check and no answere and my account is still suspended. So I call again. She says that there was an auto-response sent to my e-mail and that it went through. Well, I still haven't received it. I have some pretty severe junk mail detection running, so maybe thats it (but i did receive an e-mail from them when I joined). So here I am. Unable to re-instate my account because I am not receiving E-mails (apparently only from Pinnacle). Customer service only responds to e-mails and whoever I am speaking with on the phone insists its my problem. How nice.

Pinnacle is strange like that, I been through it with them in the past. Its their business model to get away from the phone completely, they offer reduced juice on the net and too make up for it they cut cost on phone mins per month and also less personal staff. I see what they are trying to do, but sometimes they go overboard, once in a while u need to speak on the phone with a person to get it right.

Pinnacle sucks for CS and playing the horses. I quit playing the horses there long ago. But you can't beat the sport lines, you just have to hope you don't need the CS. Best CS in the industry from my experience is Blue Marlin, they will do anything reasonable for their customers! And you can always reach them via the phone!

I know Pinnacle is a good book they obviously pay (well everyone nowadays pays anyway) but cutting your cost by eliminating phone calls is extremely ridiculous. You go to their site you hardly see their phone number. They wanted to communicate by emails but there are some circumstances emails are not as accurate as phone calls. Yeah, they had the lowest vig, fastest payouts, blah, blah, blah but if they will not improve on this area it will eventually hurt them.

| Hey Fatboy it's good to see you around again. I hate the place, dislike alot of folks that work there, but in a pinch they are reliable as hell. It is funny though that fioretino's old lady is in charge of "player development". They better get the machines soon though, last I was up at the facility it was a ghost town, and the handle on the live stuff has been dwindling for a while. Take care, TA
