Only Reno could cause this much attention. I love it.

We all are looking forward to it.

Good Luck Reno!

We'll be posting our plays after we play them. I still don't know if we're going to start playing this week. I'll be talking to my programmer-partner later today, and we'll make that determination. The program spit out 5 sides and 10 totals as plays this week, but my partner is concerned because he's seeing unprecedented overlays and wants to make sure the program is performing properly. Last year, we didn't start playing until week 5, so the stuff he's written for the first few weeks of a season is new and may still have bugs.

Because of some uncertainty--due to some suspiciously large overlays--we've decided to bet our plays for just half units this week. So instead of playing $1,800 a game, I'll be playing $900. We're going to put some of the plays in in a couple of hours and the rest in tomorrow morning. I'll post the plays we put in today in a couple of hours and the rest before and right up to post time tomorrow.

Wow a whole $900? Just as you previously mentioned, I am sure this syndicate of yours will bring the offshore books down to their knees. Question for you, are you going to lay the WHOLE $900.00 at one book, or in order to negate risk, spread it around several books. Also do any offshore books even take $900.00 wagers all at one pop - or do you have to beard in.

As long as he bets his money what does anyone care how much it is. Some have more bankroll than others maybe Reno cant afford to bet anything more substantial than 1k a game.

KidVegas - I could tell you how much I won or lost - but would it make a difference? Can you count that high or low? Why would anyone be interested in what I bet? I am not throwing around the 9/10's of a dime that our superstar is, - $900.00 bucks PER UNIT

PER UNIT?

Take it easy Reno, you don't want to lose the whole inheritance in one day, lets see 5 sides, 10 totals thats 15 plays. Assuming you bet the same amount on sides as you do on totals, which by the way would be a first as far as "syndicates" go. Thats a rather large 14,850 bucks. For those that are confused, I am not mocking the bet size per se, bet whatever you feel comfortable with. But coming from the expert and his sidekick - I can't help but laugh.

Reno, thanks for making my day.

Dairyman, I'd normally be playing $1,800 per game to start--just for me, no one else. I started with 2 dime bets and 100 dime bankroll in baseball, but after we got our clock cleaned in baseball, my bankroll got reduced to 65 dimes, and my bets in football were reduced. If we win as expected, my bets will increase. If we'd had a winning baseball season, I'd have a bigger bankroll and be betting a lot more.

Again, if it weren't for the uncertainty, I'd be betting $1,800 per play to start. Once we're clear there is no error, or no later than the 5th week of the season, I'll double my bets size. With our high-volume programs, which should in time generate 10,000 plays per year, there is no need to send it all in right away. We debated whether to even play this week, and we compromised by deciding to play half units.

I just posted 11 of our plays in the football forum. Tomorrow I'll stick in the remaining three.
