it apprears as though the outfield sections in dodger stadium are closed tonite. totally empty.

You must be watching a different game than me. They aren't full, but they have some fans.

TS----you are correct. Right Field bleachers look like they are closed. The Padres close the top sections sometimes but that is a football stadium.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

For many midweek games, they close right field at dodger stadium. Still around 25,000 there tonight which isn't bad with a last place team in town.

I don't know maybe they are having a fireworks show after the game sometimes they close the stands down for that. It could just be that LA is one of the worst sports town and they are just doing what they know what to do best either dont' show up or leave early. I just saw a clip of Kirk Gibson's framatic game winning HR against the A's in the series a few years back, if you look behind the stands where he hit the ball you can actually see brake lights, people actually trying to get out of the parking lot while Gibson is making world series history, lol.
