Default Welcome First Fidelity back MajorWager

It is very nice to see books come back for more at MajorWager.

Blue Marlin and First Fidelity in the last week with a few more coming in the next 2 weeks.

Nothing can be more of a complimnet to all you posters when books actually "return". It means we are all doing something right!!!!! (not exactly sure what that is though)

Now if we could just stop the outgoing calls from FF all would be good!!!!

Interesting. I liked playing at FF last year. With all of their bonuses - it sorta felt like shopping in a Chinese supermarket - trying to decipher the best way to play/keep up with all that they offer.

They have NEVER called me. When I signed up - I made a point to say "if you EVER call me - I will be in trouble with my bride and will be sure to never do business with you again." This worked for me.

Congrats Russ. You have been busy. Who is your salesman? He is doing a fine job.

I think they toned down the calling.

I'll never forgive them for calling my cell phone....Well, maybe I'll check the bonuses out first.

The calling was ridiculous... they lost hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars in business from me by the constant harrasment.

I've never had any real problems with them, asked them not to call so early, and they complied. Quick payouts and good customer service.

Comp,
As much As i would like to take credit for the recent flurry of activity, I will have to give due credit to none other than The Major for these two most recent additions.

Gotta say I'm surprised. As far as I know, 1st Fidelity is part of the NASA umbrella. I thought MW would never take one of those books on. It's not a big deal to me, I play at several NASA umbrella books and have never had a problem, but this site has had a problem with them. I think, at the very least, an explanation is in order.

It doesn't mean it's untrue, but that's the first I've heard of this.

I would say they do get a bit aggresive with their offers and calls which is
fine but they have to live up to their deals they rope you in with. I've heard
some reports of reneging on the loss rebates recently and if anyone wants
to comment on or clarify this it would be helpful.
As long as they honor their offers then I have no problem with the
aggresive soliciting.

Me too. I don't know for sure but I believe it to be doubtful.

I echo what Voodoo said here. I too have seen a number of stories along these same lines (not just loss rebates, but bonuses as well).

I personally don't care if they telemarket, since I usually screen my calls anyway, but if they make an offer live up to it.

Major, you're one person that likes to see books living up to what they promised. It would be good to get these types of problems fixed if they are going to be adorning the mantlepiece atop your website..

Hali, I agree with you 100% they need to stop that. Last time they were here they popped up a banner saying 100% bonus . I got them to change that. I will work on this.

"I will work on this. "

Yes, please do Russ. It is best for ALL involved if promises are kept.

I think I might have been mistaken also, but I'm not 100% sure. I did searches both here and at the RX, and a few posters alluded to a connection, but some said there wasn't any. I think I might have confused them with Infinity, as at one time both offered high parlay odds. I do know that 1st Fidelity sent out the same Scratch cards I used to get from Millennium and Gibralter, and their brochures were very similar to the NASA Family brochures. Might have even come in the same mailings, if memory serves. Also, both 1st Fidelity and NASA used to have on their site that accounts were insured by Lloyd's of London. And 1st Fidelity was a charter book of OSGA, who some believe is just a marketing tool for the NASA family. So bottom line, I just don't know. As I said, I have no problem with them if they are a NASA umbrella, and I'm glad they are a MW Book, and hope MW can get them to cut down on their "aggressive" marketing. .
