Default MJ and the wiz to take the eastern conference...100-1 is mighty tasty

I may be dreaming, but in the weak eastern conference I don't see any reason why Jordan, Stack and Co. cannot have a fighting chance against anyone in the east.

100-1 is hard to pass up.

What do you think?

I cant see it happening, they have poor rebounding and no one inside at all! But at 100-1 it aint bad

they activated Jahidi White today - who I think is a decent centre in the eastern conference, which would allow haywood come off the bench and regain some of his confidence.
Kwame Brown has been a DNP lately, but he showed some potential in the early part of the season and could suprise.

This is definitely a trio of big men who could shine, or be complety ineffective - we'll have to wait and see what White does in his return.

anyone know what the status of Byron Russell is?

I thought he would be a valuable piece for the playoff run but has been a DNP of late.

No chance they win three 7 game series over a possible matchups against Detroit, Philly, New Jersey....that is even if they make the playoffs, which I don't think they will.

It is a terrible bet. The Wizards may not even make the playoffs. If they do, the Wiz get blown out in the 1st round.

Is Kwame Brown a bust? I havent watched enough NBA to make an informed decision. But he certainly is very raw and not making too much of an impact!!

A hungry MJ is a dangerous MJ....as evidenced tonight in OT vs. houston

One last playoff run - he'll be ready for war

MJ's line vs. houston: 35 pts, 6 ast, 11 reb

not bad for a 40 yr old

Even if the true odds were closer to 66-1
I wouldn't tie up much of ones bankroll in such a wager.
if you can take pings at things which have 1.5% chance of winning at odds of 100-1 you have to have a high bankroll to protect yourself against bust...

sure the E(R) may be +ve but the hit rate is too low for my liking

I have to agree with Manly, I like those odds in a weak Eastern Conference. Who knows what Jordan might do in the play-offs? If you look twice at him it's a foul.

I have bet worse 100-1 shots in my life, $50 bucks gets you 5 dimes.

This is just throwing money away--go with Milwaukee, Detroit, Indiana, or New Jersey
I am not saying which one I think is the winner yet--but if will be one of these four..
My theory is don't just bet a bet because the odds look great--do the
analysis and then make an informed decision.

I do not know about winning but MJ's legs came back, he is playing like he is 32 yrs old, he is definately in the top 7 guards in the league all around play, unreal for 40 years old.
