Default when betting on hockey favorites: moneyline or spread?

If you only bet on the all the favored teams in the NHL, over the long run, which would be more profitable: betting on the moneyline or the spread?

sports,

It's all about value and knowing when to take what.. On a given night, you can end up with 4 monelylines, and 4 canadian line bets (the half goal line). And then on the following night, you can end up with 8 moneylines. It all depends on value. A half goal on a given game is worth x amount of cents, so you have to use your judgment by calculating which is better for that game. There is no way you can say beforehand that moneylines are better, and so on..

If a game is -.5-50 and -185 on the Moneyline, of course you would be silly to take it at -.5-50. You'd have to be all over the -185.

And if a game is -.5 - 20, and -180 on the Moneyline, of course you would have to take the -.5-20. So it is all about value and what the best possible price is out there for that specific game. A person cannot just come in here and say, the moneyline is your best way out.. The gambling game is all about who gets the best price. That is the only way you will win in this business...

The answer to the question purely at random would initially appear to be ML's as they are usually less juiced,

but I don't follow hockey closely enough to know if that is offset by loading all the juice on the chalk or not.

and thx for the laugh Sicko, nice to know you've yet to find any other means to victory other then the little plus/minus signs gig with DB.
