Pokerinsider,

I am very interested in their rake. I would assume close to 4 million a month. Am I close?

all-in,

That's my estimate also for the rake monthly 3-4 million+ interest on all deposits!!!!!

They've got the nuts!!!!! hire about 15-20 tech guys to take care of servers and emails....

at paradise poker you can always find a gm at anytime of the day...
now that they have neteller, it's the best place to find a gm...

party poker is so-so....pretty tough to find a 5-10 gm consistently

pokerlive.com.....i used to play tournaments there...never could find a consistent gm....so i deleted their software

planetpoker....tried it for while and then i heard of rampant cheating going on so i stopped playing there

<< Since you still haven't done that, we must assume that you don't have any, and that the whole concept of bots was MADE UP by someone. >>

ScoopMonster is a figment of my imaginination?

All-in,

More than that.

Others,

The games at Paradise are tougher but more likely to be on the square than the others.

When was the last time you got your big blind back in a 3/6 game because no one called.

Think about it.

Anyone find it interesting that the 1 of the biggest books in the world (WSEX) can't spread a 5-10 but all these poker sites seem to have 1000 players online at one time? Remarkable.

WSEX failed in other areas, though. By spreading games so high, much of the dead money got taken by the good players. Subjecting your well cultivated base of sports bettors/squares to all that high limit poker talent ranks as one of the dumbest online moves in the history of gambling.

You can still go there and play heads-up against some of the best short-handed players around but you won't find any juicy 20/40 games.

Dingleberry PS is running some innovative events. Recently they started running a $100 heads up hold 'em event, got a full 128 players first go round but not nearly as many during the holidays. They seem to be on top in the multi-player tourney niche.

Pokerinsider-still waiting on just one single "bot" nick fr Paradise. Or anything resembling an iota of fact about the existence of anything other than real live players. No it isn't remarkable, think of just how many live games are spread across the world every single day, think 1000 players is any big deal in a game that is played by millions of people?

what is the fixation with this?

BFD, honestly one of the dumbest online moves ever was ever making that first deposit there buddy.

Actuary,

What does this mean: BFD, honestly one of the dumbest online moves ever was ever making that first deposit there buddy

Original Post wasn't to rag on Paradise or talk about some conspiracy I've never heard of.

The other sites that are able to use the bot technology do so more than Paradise, but Paradise does have the ability and they do use it.

I don't play heads up, I wouldn't have a clue if bots are playing in those games and not surprising that HarryPokker nick is not in my data of players.

simple thing if you're obsessed about not playing vs 'bots', either use the chat as I previously suggested or play heads up or vs only players you know personally.

No your original post was to somehow dissuade anyone fr ever playing online poker.

Now why would that be? 999,999 times out of 1,000,000 it's because of an inability to win. You have yet to post anything at all to indicate you're the lottery shot.

Back to objective IOW facts about online poker.

1)Paradise makes alot of money
2)any hint of impropriety has dramatically altered the business of a few online card rooms.
3)Paradise does not wish to have their perpetuity altered.
4)cheating takes place in real cardrooms as well
5)alot more resources are devoted to catching cheating online than real cardrooms.
6)3X as many hands/hr
7)No tips.
8)discount rake

Ok these are facts, not suppostions innuendo or other nonsense posted by some disgruntled online poker player.

HarryPokker and Flamel have never used the chat as far as I know. My info comes from a well known swedish online pokerplayer. He said so and I can assure you that it´s not because he has been loosing online...
The headsup program is not made by pp. According to rumours it´s made by the inventors of a welknown backgammonbot.
I have no objections to bots either, as long as the gane is random and somebody pays for them.

swede the reliable information i've read about bots has suggested your area of the universe is a leader in the field, my post suggesting the nick wasn't in my data was because I figured after your post that it was a heads up player and even the later post was to say playing heads up vs someone you know fr life obviously has to be bot free.

I happen to agree with you as well about your last statement about playing vs bots. The problem is in the scenario the other guy suggests, where it may not be a fair game as the sites themselves are using the bots. and that is frightening.

TA,

Isn;t it funny how some of the losing players will accuse you of being a bot or house player???

I get that everytime when I clean out a guy heads up!!!!!

Most of the time it's always thesame nicks I see sitting around waiting for mullets....

Two strong players basically feeds the house in rrake money!!!!

I recall one time beating a guy out of $700 playing heads up in less than 2 hrs!!! his nick was (plano).......he's a pretty strong player that just caught me at a wrong time and he basically went on tilt calling everything!!!!
