Just heard this in two different places but cannot confirm. Can anyone?

the 49ers all had the flu big time in a game earlier this year against the redskins.

didn't stop them from covering if your looking to play the giants!!!!!!

Yes, it is true. the flu is going around Pennsylvania these days, in fact I have it right now! But it is reported that they had it earleir in the week and they sat out saturdays practice. Duce Staley and a few others were mentioned. I dont think it will make any difference at all in the game, as they will all play adn none of them should be effected at all.

On another note, it was reported the the Giants coach adn his staff stormed out in the middle of their practice on saturday. He was unhappy with the way the team was practicing and said they were not paying attention and were goofing around. The giants continued practice without he coaches.

Have heard a few Eagles have had the flu bug, two starters did miss Saturday's practice as a result.

Usually the "flu" is not a debilitating injury... an IV before the game and one at half and they're usually good to go. Back in Da Bulls days, Jordan used to have some of his best games with the flu.

lol...not rumors, I know for a fact that a few players missed practice this week b/c of the flu. But it was earlier in the week and all of them wil start. I cant remember al the players, I do remember Duce, and a player or 2 in the 2ndary
