HE WAS BRUTAL IN TAMPA BAY AND HAS COME TO INDY AND RUINED THE COLTS OFFENSE. BEFORE ALL YOU JERKS COME IN HERE AND TELL ME HE IS 4-1 LOOK AT HOW WEAK HIS SCHEDULE WAS. HE HAS THE OFFENSE OUT OF SYNC JUST LIKE THE TAMPA OFFENSE WAS. 2 TEAMS EXPOSED THE STEELERS WITH 5 WIDES AND A SHOTGUN OFFENSE, PATS AND RAIDERS DRILLED THEM AND THEY DONT HAVE A QB LIKE PEYTON MANNING. THIS GUY IS HORRIBLE. ALSO HE RUSHES 4 GUYS ON 3RD AND LONG CONSTANTLY, WHEN WILL HE REALIZE HE DOESNT HAVE WARREN SAPP AND DERRICK BROOKS.

I have to agree , Manning looks like a fish out of water under Dungy. 4-1 doesn't mean shit.

They barely beat Jacksonville , they allowed Cincinatti a back door cover, They couldn't put away the Ray-less Ravens at home. They beat Houston big (Whoopee- they should have scored 30 points at least, only had 23) And the only decent team they faced - The Dolphins - they lost.

Manning looked just as horrible last year, last year it was Moras fault, this year its Dungys fault. When is it going to be Peytons fault?

Amarillo slim brain, Manning is from the same tired school of sports nepotism that your longhorn buddy Simms is from. The offspring grows up filthy rich and lacks the drive and skill their daddies had. Sure Archie Junior knows the playbook but that doesn't compensate for his morphodite body type. Gannon has more skills than manning or chuckie gruden could ever fathom.

This may be a first: I agree with Railbird. Some people get a rep, good or bad, and it's tough to shake.
Manning had the great pedigree, said all the right things, and started off well. But he's been throwing off
his back foot and making atrocious reads for quite some time now, and the coaches aren't making those
throws. Lost in the hoopla over Mora's meltdown was the fact that he basically was saying Manning was
a lot of the reason the Colts sucked in that game, and he was right on the money.

Manning is not getting anytime to throw. Dungy is not a head coach. The press are afraid to say it because they would be called a racist. He is a very good defensive coordinator but as a head coach he is a deer in the headlights.

Not getting any time to throw? You evidently missed the play at the end of the first half where he had plenty of time to throw, ran out of the pocket towards the sideline, and instead of throwing the ball away
or even stepping out of bounds, (either of which would have preserved a field goal try)he stupidly fired the ball into coverage where it was promptly intercepted. He is WAY overrated, plain and simple.

How good was Tampa BEFORE he was head coach there? Were they better when he left?

How good were the Colts last year?

I dont think he is a great coach by any means, but he is competent for sure. Impossible to look at his record and suggest otherwise.

Manning would be best suited at Washington.

He's got the football mind to change/call plays at the LOS like Steve likes.

Washington should go after him HEAVILY...although I know there's no way they'd get him.

means to arrange a heart implant for Manning, which is
clearly what's needed.

I remember last year when Railbird made a comment at MJ's (He Hate Me) about Manning being a loser and thinking he was utterly insane. At this time though I am beginning to agree with him. Sounds like he is uncoachable.
