regarding this incredible streak, i would love to hear from some folks on the other side of the counter:

are people playing the a's, or going the other way betting on the 'due' theory. this could either be killing the house, or paying for some upcoming vacations.

anybody...

T.S.....I'm on the A's tonight(rl)......I loved the fact they got a day rest.....I also loved the fact that everybody and their sister were on KC tonight........a lot of people bet the due factor, and figured Paul Byrd would beat them......this game is far from over, but it's a nice story...

just for the record i took over 7.5 and wanted to take oakland -1.5 but thats easy to say afterward but the fact of the matter is an old saying in baseball you cant win them all. or can you. i was just too scared to take oakland but wished i did

k.c. mounting a late comeback. 11-10 top of 8, somebody on the Oakland bench must have said that if K.C. came back to win the game that thy would walk home.

On KC here. This will officially be my last baseball play of the regular season if KC can finish this come back. Coming back from an 11-0 deficit vs. a great pitcher and a team thats won 20 straight?!?! There just is no way to top that if they can finish it off. (I'm not holding my breath)
