They've called up some clown by the name of Steve Smyth who will make his major league debut on Tuesday against Barry and the Giants.

How good is this Smyth guy?

Well at Triple A Iowa he's got a 6.15 era!!
Very impressive. Better yet, he averages 5 innings per start. Will he even last 5 innings before he hands it off to the 7+era (post-break) cubby bullpen?

Wowser!

I feel for you Cub fans. It may be another long century.

It's too bad that the SF offense has cooled down upon Barry's return. In the 4 games that he's started since his return from injury, SF has only scored 32 runs.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

This kid is getting smoked. Bonds just cranked a 3 runner. Nice to have an over under won in the bottom of the 3rd.
