Say what you want, but "in my opinion" there is no one site that is a "watchdog" in the offshore sports betting market, not one. First of all there are near 800 sports betting sites on the internet now. I know not of any one single site that is up to speed on a fraction of those sites. Most internet sites that proclaim "king of hill" in this area consist of no more than two full time individuals and a handful of part-timers that don't know the industry. All the popular sites take revenue from sportsbooks making their opinion subject to question. There is no non-for-profit organization providing unbiased reviews of any one sportsbook. Best case is that the various sites monitor their own sponsors. However I've yet to see any book provide any "hard" numbers open to verification to anybody... and in part this is understandable. Players continue to cry for that ray of light to guide them, but it will not appear until they build it.

Absolutely. This ought to be on a banner at the top. The last thing a book in trouble wants to do is tell a "watchdog site"-who BY THEIR NATURE, owe it to the players to let them know that "X book" is having troubles....which starts a run on the bank, which kills the book. It stilll ought to be a banner to those who want to blame a site for losing their lifes savings in a failed offshore (all $243 of it). << Say what you want, but "in my opinion" there is no one site that is a "watchdog" in the offshore sports betting market, not one. >>

"Say what you want, but "in my opinion" there is no one site that is a "watchdog" in the offshore sports betting market, not one." I agree with that 100%. The information that one can confirm in this business will always make this category a difficult one for any one group to watch. There is not a car that can be crash tested or a widget that can be x-rayed. There are no financials to examine or quarterly reports. It's a no-win situation when you deal with the reliable unnamed sources.
