The locals could probably tell you the best inside info, but my square-ass tourist views are as follows: 1. For comfort I like the Bellagio best and also The Mirage; for "action" Stardust or LVHilton. I hate MGM and NYNY casinos, but the s/b at MGM seemed good and the ESPNzone at NYNY is great for eating and drinking and watching games ( their s/b is just outside the entrance for "getting down" ). 2. I prefer single deck BJ, since the vig is typically less for a basic strat player like myself, so I mostly play downtown. The Strip tends to be all shoe games or large minimum single and double deck. There are some exceptions near the North end of the Strip, but I don't go out of my way to play there. If you don't care about vig, or prefer hand signals to holding the cards, then most of the casinos shoe games are very similar in rules and odds. So go with the cutest cw's and eyecandy, like RIO or HardRock. JMHO I like to avoid all the bluehairs, whenever possible, so HR, RIO, MB appeal to me most! 3. Can't help ya much here. I have been to the Palomino once and a few others, but I tend to blow my wad at the gambling tables not the tItty bars, so to speak! GL, kill the house!

Maybe I'll wave to you in the air. I'm heading out of Vegas Friday morning...back to America (Wisconsin). I don't do girly bars so I can't help ya there. But come football season, I found a "Lions" bar that's also a strip club. Will make a good excuse to go see the Packers play the Lions...LOL.

| black, many of the monday night football parties are cultural events at places such as cheetahs, the library, etc. half price lap dances at halftime, etc

From a 21 year local... #1) Every year that goes by there seems to be less and less difference between Vegas SportsBooks. I personally like to hang around Caesars Palace, but mostly because l like the tacky atmostphere. Hilton and Stardust can be fun, too. The Orleans (off strip 4500 W. Trop) is reputed to have better odds and promotions, but I wouldn't expect too much to be going on in the summer and probably not worth a special trip. #2) Downtown still has the reputation for best place to play Table Games, esp. Binioin's Horseshoe. I understand everyone is complaining about how Betty Binion is ruining the place, but I think you can still find single deck blackjack at several downtown properties. Plus, if you don't like the table for whatever reason, you have several different options within walking distance. #3) Check out Studio 54, C2K at the Venetian and House of Blues. For upscale topless, Jubilee is a nice review. For low scale top and bottomless-- Little Darlings, I guess. Anyway, that's where my kids both went when they turned 18. It's the unofficial place for Vegas High School kids to have their "coming out party", so to speak.

LOLguys........if she gets too bored at the pool,I can always treat her to a facial and let her get her hair and nails done ,,,,,,That should leave me enough time to enjoy myself......And after I've put her to bed at night,I can always sneek out......remember ,we're on Montreal time,3 hours ahead,so after a little luvin she should be passed out for the night....Las Vegas here I come...

July 5th at the Hardrock is a nice UFC card, feturing many of the HuningtonBeach Badboys including Tiki,Razor and Fabiano. Tito the best in the World is sitting this one out and is saving himself for the Tito Ortiz invitational. HuningtonBeach is the UFC Capital of the World, the Club Rubber guy is the promoter.

black lab, The MGM/Mirage sportsbooks which includes the Bellagio, Treasure Island, and the Golden Nugget suck. For the loser squares, its heaven. Comfortable seating and free drinks. These donkeys have 20 cent baseball lines, rarely have golf match-ups unless its a major, and never any prop bets. I recommend the Mandalay Bay. Where are you staying? How long are you staying? I may be available for a round of golf.

KV, I agree about playing at Bellagio, but for watching games it is nice and comfy. Play online or offshore, you can't match it in LV anyway! lab, Circus, Circus, OUCH! Don't eat the blue meat in the cheapo buffet! Vegas Vacation modeled their buffet after that gut buster. Put on your walkin shoes and head South! GL

black lab, you are very close to the Stardust and that will do just fine since nothing is happening this weekend except for baseball. I won't be able to play golf over the weekend. It is very hot right now so if you do play golf try to get out at 6:30am. Have a great time.
