and freddie listened to the tape and verified what i said all along. so, i am not a liar as you bashed me with about the check and you lost the wager fair and square..now the boards can see if nab stand behinds their wagers

i left it out because it has nothing whatsoever to do with the bet..the bet was clearly if i asked and was told by anyone at majorbetting that it was written on american bank..i understand your point now, but the bet was based on the above only

I explained to you on the phone the checks are drawn from banks in two other countries........not American banks............but they do have (i guess you can call it) transfer banks in the states........

Now I don't want to get into symantics over this but it appears we are arguing over nothing but a delay by the bank or fedex..........

As you can see from our emails to you......the tracking number was given to you Monday at 1:06.....fed ex....who gave the tracking number didnt pick up the package till 1:43 today......if they picked it up at 1:43 YESTERDAY....WE WOULDN'T BE HAVING THIS DISCUSSION....

your dead wrong.. i put up my check against the equal amount from bill. he ok'd it so i took it.now his big mouth got him in trouble. if i would have lost freddie could have sent the check right to new age. so why should i let it go???

get your facts straight. if you are going to read all the posts read em right. in the mid to later 90's i worked for shearson lehman as a market maker and trader and was shorting all those little piggies you and all the other lemmings were buying in the late 90's..so thanks to the lemming mentality and the tech wreck i did ok

Gamblingal your are busted........

by the mid 90's there was no shearson lehman. They were seperated in the early 90's. By the mid 90's it was Smith Barney Shearson....and I think(but not sure) that Lehman was bought by American Express in the Mid 90's....

So if you worked there...you would have known

While I think gamblingal was a little hasty in her worries about her payout, Bill made another error in judgement with his abrasive and confrontational style that we have all come to know and loathe.

While its easy to dismiss most posters who shoot off their mouths, representative of books should and are held to a higher standard. Bill bet the tape wouldn't say what gamblingal said and now apparently he was wrong. Not sure if anyone really expected either side to "pay up" over this "bet" (I sure didn't) but in my opinion it was not the wise course of action for Bill and it does not reflect well on NAB.
