The good thing it was in the play for fun mode. I was bored so I went to one of the books I have an account with and logged into the casino. I chose the play for fun mode on blackjack and was given a fake balance of 50,000.00 to start. In a matter of 25 min my balance was 48,000.00. Now this is what I did: I played 100.00 hand (never more, never less, except for double down and splits) I played just as I would if it was real money (as much as possible) I played what is suppossed to be the right blackjack strategy. I never hit against the dealers 3-6 ever when I was 12 or more. I split when necessary and doubled down when to my advantage. I honestly tried to act like this was my money. I have played like this before and taken hits on 18 and doubled down on 14 just for fun, but I took this serious. There was even the surrender option and I would use this when I had a 5 or 6 against the dealer 10 card. I was just amazed at the number of times I would have 20 and the dealer would be showing a 5 and the hole was a 6 followed by a face card. I also only won 1 double down the whole session. The obvious good news is this was play money. It is also good to see that the book does not change the way the software works for the play for fun and play for real mode. It did give me a honest look at how this works. I would suggest to anybody getting ready to play for real that they first try the for fun mode. Anybody have similar experiences? I am NOT saying this book was cheating. I could have just had a long bad run or might not have been playing as good of strategy as I thought. This was actually a good experience for me as there has been many times that I have thought of playing some blackjack to waste some time. It appers that it is more a waste of money.

Easton, I have never really thought much about online casino gambling. Like I said I am not saying this was not on the up and up. It just seemed weird to me, but hey I have been at a casino before and watched the red hit 14 straight times on roulette. If that would happen on a online casino I would raise hell in the forum most likely. I will just stay away. I cannot imagine how sick I would have been losing that much money for real on online blackjack.

I'll never understand how you guys can trust these guys. How do you know they're not rigged. I'd rather take my chances with something that I know is not rigged, SPORTS. If I'm going to lose money, I'd rather it be this way than a stupid machine that I have no idea who's controlling it. The last thing I want happening to me is be conned.

| Well I lost $1200 in under 10 minutes playing blackjack...AND IT WAS REAL MONEY!!!!

I agree that the sportsbook.com bj is totally rigged. It seems whenever the house has a bad day, somebody up high clicks a button and anyone who dares play bj with them will get non-stopped reemed. Not even win a hand, just take, take, take

Dell Dude, Did not mean to bring up a bad memory for you. Good luck on the sports betting. Cecil, I edited out the book name after thinking about it because I have no proof that anything was rigged and do not want to come across as making that suggestion. The book is a good book that pays and feel that I may unfairly give them a bad rap. You can private msg me if you like and I will let you know. This post I mine is intended more to warn people to give the games a try before playing for real money as oppossed to warning about a specific book.

If you gotta play a card game online play poker against other REAL people!!! NEVER EVER EVER play BJ ( or a computer)!!! Sure in poker the house always takes their small cut/rake of each pot but at least its a game you can profit off of, with a legit chance of winning. I think cashing the ticket gave great advice for people when he said to "try the fun/play mode" for BJ. If they won't let you win play money, why in the world would they let you win their "hard earned money" (lol). Either way best of luck to all!

I've never played online for real $. In part because most of the time I played in "for fun" mode I won. Since that doesn't match "real" expected results, my conclusion is that if they lure you in by rigging the fun mode to more easily win then why wouldn't they rig the "real $" mode to phuck you. Not worth the risk, IMO. I don't trust non-regulated online casinos who could easily rig their s/w. Its dodgy enough trusting non-regulated online books, but at least they can't fix the games ( unless you are really a conspiracy theorist ) LOL. GL

| If you gotta play a card game online play poker against other REAL people!!! I agree. Tried the MW Poker ( free version ). Played 7 card stud & kicked azzzzz. In four hours one night, won $8K. NEVER lost & remember you only get a $5K bankroll to begin. Somebody gave me a site here to do it real. I'd like to lurk if that was possible for a while or play $1-3 or $2- $5 until I got confidence to move up. Never play against a machine, though.

It's a different game when you play for real money. People feed the pot when it's free hoping to draw into some thing on the last card. In real play everyone folds except the couple of hands that are made. After the flop you might have everyone fold except the person who bets. Hence, winning pots are typically small and the house takeout becomes a big factor to overcome.
