Default Kevin Brown

Kevin Brown had his second straight impressive outing Thursday, pitching two scoreless innings and striking out three.
Brown gave up two hits and hit a batter. ''It wouldn't be unusual to be happy with this if I hadn't been injured,'' he said. ''I don't hurt, which is good. My arm feels good, no problems with my back. I feel better than I've felt in quite some time.''

you guys like him ?
all the reports in the la times is he is fine so far can he really be a sleeper and how much do you think he will go for?
my problem is we draft a week later and if he has a great out the first time his value will go up.

grady

when brown is healthy, he is easily a top 5 pitcher in the entire league....but that potential has crushed many teams lately, as he has been a non factor the last couple of years.

you just can't know if he will hold up, but i think i might have to take that chance. he has sick stuff to say the least.

got this from another board

Yes, I know it's only Spring Training, but-

6IP 0 ER 3H 0BB 8 K's

I just listened to a bit of it, according to the announcer he was dominant- only one fly-ball out, the rest ground balls and K's, and two of the singles were apparently "seeing-eye" ground balls.

Most telling stat to me is that he pitched 6IP. I don't think any other Dodger has gone six yet, I can't believe they'd let him go that far unless he was feeling fine.
