Pedro Martinez thew off a mound yesterday for the first time since September, according to the Boston Globe. "It didn't feel like that at all when I came back from the (shoulder) injury," Martinez said. "You can see by my attitude and the way I throw the ball and the way I do everything, it's natural, like nothing ever happened."

Living in the boston area, I see alot of his games on local TV and to be honest, he may be a top 3 starter overall BUT the Red Sox baby him too much and they'll take him out in the 8th even if he's got a 1 hitter going. If your league has COMPLETE GAMES, avoid him and get a RJ or Schilling.

Pedro Martinez (P) Bos Pedro Martinez threw two simulated innings yesterday, according to the Boston Globe. "There is no comparison between the first time I saw him this year and last year," said Red Sox manager Grady Little. "He feels much better. There's a confident look on his face and there's no concern about any injury right now."
