Sweat Hog Hockey-Wednesday
5-7-1 on posted plays here, so looking to get back on the positive side tonight:
NYI -120 over Montreal: Montreal is 2-7 last 9 games in Long Island, home team is 24-8-2 H2H. NYI is the hotter team right now, so history and recent play says go with the Islanders.
Anaheim +116 at Dallas: Anaheim now remembers how to play hockey and are steamrolling into Dallas. This Dallas team is not the same caliber as Anaheim in general.
Phoenix -115 vs LA: Phoenix should be pumped up after obtaining Ilya B for their net, and he recorded a shutout in his first start vs these same LA Kings. Look for the Phoenix players and the few fans that show up to be excited about playing and watching hockey again.
NJ +128 at Pittsburgh: Brodeur got his 500th win and should be much more relaxed now that it's over. Pittsburgh's lost 7 of the last 10 games and are not playing well at all, 6 of those losses coming in regulation time.
NJ/Pit Under 5.5: Love the under in NJ games. Many people have the impression that Pittsburgh is a high-scoring team in general, but they actually sit right near the middle of the pack at 17th in goals per game. NJ sits at 26th.
Play of the Day--Atlanta +115 at Washington: Explain why Atlanta is the underdog in this game??? Atlanta are one of the hottest teams in the East right now winning 8 of their last 10, Washington is one of the coldest teams (if not THE coldest) having lost 8 of the last 10.
2 leans: Columbus over Florida; Detroit/Stlouis Under 5. Just leans but couldn't pull the trigger.
