Default Question about TIGERS / SOX

I'm curious about what y'all think of the ongoing battle for the AL Central?

Is Detroit going to pull it off? Will order be restored in the universe?

From the preseason into May, division futures gave the Tigers under at 10% chance of winning. They've climbed up to almost 40% and are apparently still rising.

Thoughts?

Default Question about TIGERS / SOX

the sox are better as long as their pitching doesn't crap out.i think both of these teams are fades until they get better thru trades.

Default Question about TIGERS / SOX

i was more or less looking to bet against on a game by game basis.minny lacks hitting and more likely then not mauer will tire and come back to earth.i think a.l. dogs are the way to go for awhile as the elite teams may be overrated.

Default Question about TIGERS / SOX

I think the Tigers are for real. They posted an ERA of under 3.00 from mid-June until the break. Playing dogs may be a solid play, as both Detr & CWS may not continue on their 1st half pace, but they really don't need to. If both teams play .500 ball the rest of the season, it would put them in the 90s for wins and that should be enough to get both into the playoffs.
It'll be interesting to see who does what before the trade deadline.
