Default Statistics gets two major pokes in the eye

before you sell your sole to statistics being the end all and be all you should read two books that will forever change your mind.

TheThe Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules Our Lives , by
Leonard Mlodinow

and The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable: With a new section: "On Robustness and Fragility" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb

You will NEVER look at that field of study the same way again

Default it depends....

that's why you can never win if you always take the team that out does another team in every statistical category.....more often than not you will lose.

However, you handicap must always look at the opening number vegas puts on a game.....and incorporate that statistic with whatever you come up with and do an apples to apples comparison.
