 What chance a NHL game with total of 5 lands on 5 --------------------------- nostaw1952 A friend of mine whose specialty is handicapping hockey told me 20% a few years ago, I assume it's about the same. --------------------------- neim About 21% ------------------------- drunkengoon over the last 2 season, according to Olympic's lines, 151 games landed on 5 goals of 744 that had a line of 5. That's about 20.29% which is a lot higher than I thought it would be (was thinking about 17%) --------------------------  |

| If a game with a total of 5 lands on 5 20% of the time, you could say that a half-goal is worth 50 cents in these games, correct? i.e. betting 5 over +100 should have the same return as betting 4.5 over -150. Does anyone know how often the total lands on 6 for games with a total of 6? |

| I know ZERO about hockey. Do you guys find enough line difference to middle/side these totals? I presume that is what's being discussed here. At a 20% hit rate, it leaves room for a lot of juice and still a +EV on a side. GL2All |
