Johnnie Gray Tries Suicide Attempt - No Word On Condition
Paducah (Ky), Police and the McCracken County Sheriff's Department are investigating the suicide attempt early this morning of Johnnie Gray, the father of young Katie Gray who went missing last November in the waters of Massac Creek. Paducah Police say Johnnie Gray reportedly called the McCracken County Sheriff's Department and stated that he was going to kill himself by setting off two bug spray foggers inside his residence. Paducah Police officers who responded to the scene found Gray in a back bedroom of the apartment unconscious, with the air inside the home reeking of bug spray. Gray was taken outside by the officers into the fresh air while an ambulance was summoned. Gray was taken to the Lourdes Hospital emergency room. There's no word on his condition. Police say that a note was found inside the residence from Gray stating what clothes he wanted to buried in and that he had made a video on his computer. Detective Tom Emery with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department was called to the scene to secure any evidence deemed useful in the investigation of Katie Gray's disappearance. |
