WYOMING, Mich. - A Michigan teacher is in jail - for sharing a little too much with her students.
Kristina Speidel was accused of smoking pot with students at her home. The middle school science and language arts teacher was convicted on a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of minors.
This week she was sentenced to 60 days in jail. She will have to do another 30 days under house arrest, monitored by an electronic tether.
Investigators say Speidel admitted that she had the illegal weed, but denied she smoked it in front of students. She's also appealing the school district's decision to fire her.
