Default NBA -- Thursday, January 13...

My Internet connection was DOWN for almost 20 hours starting yesterday at around 3:45 p.m. or so...The cable modem connection was re-established this morning some time...All I can say is it wasn't my fault that i couldn't post last night, I had no way to get to the Internet as my cable modem service SUCKED EGGS yesterday AND the day before as I was down about 3.5 hours on TUE...The tech guy I talked to said that the TUE outage was a precursor to the area crash that happened yesterday...

I'm thinking about switching to DSL if I can get it, but now I just read where Verizon DSL had a major outage from my area all the way down to Philly (about a 60+ mile radius) for about a day or longer...It really sucked last night having no internet, especially when I had a very good night, but let's move on...I hope to have my records updated tomorrow, and my 2 WED winners and all my WED LEANS winners will not be included since I was unable to post them...

New Jersey Nets +9 (1 unit)

Let-down spot for Houston, pure and simple...They shot 61% from the floor last night vs. Dallas, and only 2 other teams have shot over 60% from the field for an entire game this year (LAC on 11/3 & SA on 12/11) and neither of them covered their next game...T-Mac is questionable...Because i had no Internet, I actually watched my first NBA game this year on ESPN, and McGrady's toe was really, really sore, he was limping around at times...They might hold him out tonight or he may play limited minutes...Even if he does play 40 minutes, I like the Nets to stay under the 9-point number...HUGE National TV win last night = let-down tonight...

Utah -- Webber and Bibby are questionable...Mobley might not play...Even if all 3 play, they could very well be out of sync tonight...The team is still bothered by the trade if you read the SAC newspapers...They won vs. DEN their first time out, but the SECOND time out is where they could REALLY feel the effects of not having Christie...It's a let-down spot for the Jazz, but heck, they were in a let-down spot last night after a win vs. SA and still hammered PHOE...This team may finally be finding their stride and the outlook must be a bit better now since they may have Kirilenko for this weekend...

Cleveland -- Cavs have 7-0 trend in their favor tonight, Lakers just 2-5 ATS in Bk-to-Bk spots and with all the Lebron vs Kobe hype that came up last year, I think Lebron wants to get a win here as LAL swept the Cavs last year...Lebron generally plays well on National TV games, I think CLE gets this tonight...
