![]() Thanks Stevo and Bostongambler for your support. Let's have a great season. There have been a lot of changes this year. Believe that it's going to be a very competitive year. Taking: Houston -2 Season Record: 2-3 *********************************************** Right now, Yao Ming currently leads the league in FG %. FG%'s -------- Chicago 33.5% Houston 43.0% Average Points Allowed: Chicago 97.0 Houston 82.0 Chicago has lost by an average of 17 points. ========================================= Comments on Other games: New Orleans -3 at Atlanta: Would lean towards New Orleans in this one and Over Miami at Dallas -13 1/2: Dallas should cover this one, but rather pass due to poor recent shooting. San Antonio -1 1/2 at Memphis: Would pass on side and lean towards Under. Philadelphia at Portland -5 1/2: Looking for a very competitive game here. Portland #3 in Rebounding and last in FG% Defense. Philly good at stealing the ball. Taking care of the Rock will be paramount for the Blazers. Iverson's one of the top scorers in the League. If Portland trys to out run and gun Philly, think they'll lose. If they bang it down low to Randolph, Davis and Rasheed, and take smarts shots from the perimeter, they'll win. have a great day everyone, baz |

![]() Stevo, It's always a good idea to let the dust settle and allow teams to prove what they really can do versus guessing. Glad to see that others are off to a good start. Wishing everyone a good wagering season, baz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Milwaukee +2 Milwaukee averaging 96.8 points and allowing 88.8 points (+8.0) New York averaging 77.3 points and allowing 79.7 (-2.3) Milwaukee FG% 44.9 % and allowing 39.5% (+5.4) New York FG% 40.4% and allowing 34.2% (+6.2) Assist TurnOver ration: Milwaukee 1.78/1.85 New York .98/1.14 Offensive Rebounds: Milwaukee 14.2 New York 7.7 This isn't a good number for New York which is shooting just 40.4% Milwaukee is playing back to back, having stayed fairly close to the Lakers. Milwaukee has the better FG% and Assist Turn Over ratio. Worth a shot as a +2 dog. Still currently availible at several sportsbooks. season record in daily tread: 2-1 |

![]() Thanks Stevo -------------------------------- Sacramento -2 at Portland Total 191 Good match up here. Linesmakers have Kings favored. The Kings won both their trips here last season after losing 34 of the previous 36. They have just five wins in 41 all-time road games against the Trail Blazers since the series began in 1970. Last game, Peja, Bibby and Christie took most of the shots. Portland is last in the league in FG% Defense, Sacramento 26th. Kings Main Shooters: Peja is shooting 48.4% and Bibby 46.3%. Keys for Portland to win. Bang it down low early and often. Would try to get Divac in foul trouble early. Perhaps even bring in Boumtje-Boumtje and Stepania in early with that expressed purpose. A fast pace game would be to Sacramento's favor. Allowing outside shooters to get into a rhythm. Slow down the pace and let Rasheed and Randolph post them up. Try to get Davis more involved offensively. Doubtful Blazers beat Kings from the perimeter. It would really help if Bonzi could have a good game. Off to a slow start and FG% numbrs down since last season. Would suggest as to any struggling shooter. Slow down, be deliberate and take high % shots whenever possible. Don't force shots that aren't there. Portland has taken much better care of the rock the last two games. 49-20 Assist-Turnover ratio. Kings handle the ball well and shoot well. Both qualities will be at a premium with little margin for error if the Blazers wish to prevail. Last two match ups totals were 217 and 232. Dallas games averaging 210 on the Road. Both teams tend to like to run. Portland's last 5 games Under. Portland Home Games averaging 176.4 Going to take the Over 191 (currently availible @ WSEX) season record 5-4 good luck today, baz |

![]() Thanks Stevo and nehpets, After such a tough night, tought it would be a good idea to take a little time off. Going with Portland tonight (PK) Over Golden State. Portland has won the last 5 matchups. Wells is out, but Golden State has several players out also. Portland hasn't played well on the Road, but I feel that the Trail Blazers are the better team. Season record: 7-8 good luck everyone, baz |
| |||
![]() Ugh, Portland 1-15 on 3's!!! Golden State 1-10 on 3's!!!! For a game total of 2 for 25 (Ouch!) very ugly and disappointing game Keep thinking the Portland will bang it inside, but they continue to shoot in bunches from outside. Back to the drawing board. Will try to get 'em next time. still wishing everyone good luck, baz |

![]() After such a "Homer" call on Portland and dropping my season record to 7-9 am going to have to wait for a very strong play. Don't want get behind too much early. It's still early, but going to have to do better in the future. good luck with you wagers today, baz ---------------------------------------------------------------------- New York 171 1/2 Boston -7 and -7 1/2 Comments: Last two match-ups decided by 2 and 3 points. For new York van Horn is out and Houston Questionable. Houston is their top scorer and Van Horn the 2nd in scoring and 2nd on the team in rebounds. Would like Under, but very low total of 171 1/2. Boston is on 1-4 run and laying -7 or 7 1/2 NY is 2-5 ATS in their last seven overall. NY is 1-5 ATS in their last six when away. Under is 5-1 for NY when on the road. BOS is 3-7 in their last 10 overall. Under is 6-0-1 in BOS’s last seven overall. BOS is 7th overall in def. w/89.2 pts/game. Would lean toward Boston winnings, but -7 seems too steep a price. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Indiana -3 to -6 Orlando 177 Indiana is 10-2 Orlando is 1-12 Indiana is 6-0 on the Road Orlando is 0-6 at Home The numbers would indicate that Indiana is more probable of winning this game. IND is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 overall. IND is 6-0 ATS in their last six overall. IND is 5-1 ATS in their last six away. ORL is 0-12 ATS in their last 12 overall. ORL is 0-6 ATS in their last six at home. Mag is 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings. O'Neal is listed as Probable, so will be passing. Would take Indiana if O'Neal was going to play. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Detroit-2 to -3 Atlanta 181 1/2 DET is 4-1 ATS in the last five overall. DET is 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven away. Over is 4-1 in DET’s last five overall. ATL is 1-4 ATS after one-day of rest. Over is 6-1 in ATL’s last seven overall. ATL is 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings. Lindsay Hunter G Knee Doub Mon Richard Hamilton G Neck Out Mon Elden Campbell C Personal Out Mon Hamilton 2nd leading scorer. Imagine Detroit wins this game, but without Hamilton leary of taking small road favorite. Haven't done well with them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Houston-4 1/2 to -5 Los Angeles Clippers 182 Under is 3-9 in HOU’s last 12 overall. Under is 5-1 in HOU’s last six when away. HOU is 7th overall ATS with a 58.3% record. LAC is 0-3 ATS in the last three overall. LAC is 26th overall ATS with a 37.5% record. Under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings. Looking for Houston to prevail here due to Yao Ming inside presence. Lean towards Under Maurice Taylor is out for Houston Elton Brand is out for Los Angeles --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
