Balance: -31.1 SA-Srichaphan 1.8 Olympic I think that Sa's win over Vinciguerra carries much more weight than Srichaphan's win over Erlich. Sa leads h2h 1-0 (won convincingly on hard) and I believe is a better player on faster surfaces. CORRETJA-Golmard 2.55 Olympic Corretja almost never play on grass at all. But I disagree that Golmard is such a huge favorite in this match. Golmard has no outstanding results on grass either. Plus Corretja won all of their four matches, including matches on hard and carpet. I think that 2.55 represent a value. FEDERER-Prinosil 1.64 Intertops I believe that Federer is a more significant favorite in this match. Prinosil is defending champion in Halle, but he has not done anything special this year and the first round win over Moya 7/6 7/6 does not indicate any great grass court form either.

Balance: -51.1 (Federer bet pending) Grosjean-SANTORO 2.7 Olympic Santoro has a h2h advantage and moreover he defeated Santoro on hard and carpet. I don't see why the odds are so high on him. Kiefer-BJORKMAN 2.55 Olympic I think that Bjorkman is a better player on grass overall. The question is in what kind of form he is now. His first round win over Schalken suggests that it is not too bad. WOODBRIDGE-Srichaphan 1.71 Olympic I will bet against Srichaphan again. Woodbridge is very good on grass. I have not heard anything from him for a long time, but hope that he is back now.

Balance: -22.2 KAFELNIKOV-Escude 1.54 Olympic Kafelnikov leads h2h 4-1. The only match he lost to Escude was on clay. Kafelnikov is a very good player on grass in general and has an excellent record in Halle in particular. Judging by his performance in France, Kafelnikov is in a very good form at the moment. I am a bit worried about Escude's seemingly easy win against Haas in the second round, who is not a bad player on grass either. But nevertheless I believe the odds are good enough.

Balance -16.8 I have been very lucky with third set tiebreaks so far this week. JOHANSSON-Santoro 1.64 Intertops I believe that Johansson is a much stronger player on grass than Santoro, who is not a grass court player at all. I also think that Johansson's wins over Larsson, Bjorkman and Kafelnikov mean much more than what Santoro has done in this tournament.
