| Would like to share some of my favorite golf capping sites with fellow punters here. All are free and you may be aware of some or all of them, but if not I think you will enjoy them. www.tour-tips.com Ran by Stanley Don't think he needs intro for most. You will hard pressed to find more capping info available on one site.Weekly stats on all tours, matchup lines on most golf outs, his own selections,up over 200 units last year and already at century mark this year plus much more. www.golfonline.com by Golf Magazine Go to the stat section. Has long term stats on each player in all tours.Great for trends and long term tourny history.Breaks down each tourney by players on per round basis. www.golf-betting.co.uk By Clive Very savvy fellow from UK on golf outright wagering.Has outright analysis on each tour weekly.Great insight. If anyone has favs they wish to share I am always looking.Good luck to all |

| Dogs, I wish I had a site to give you but I got all of mine from you. It may seem that there is little golf interest here, which is what I assumed for a while also, and yet every Monday there are usually golf threads in the mess hall. I am not sure why there is not more posting before and during each tourney as it seems the posts here only come out following disputes. But the reaction, to things such as the Chalmers DQ is vast suggesting quite a few golf bettors around. I sense a need for a golf contest or some other means to solicit these sharp posters opinions prior to the tournies conclusion. TA

| Tour-tips.com is excellent. Stanley's Memorial tip, Paul Azinger, currently tops the leaderboard at the Memorial and he doesn't have to beat Tiger to collect! The course compatibility is particularly good. For those of us who still don't mind the odd book (the ones you read!) Keith Elliott's Golf form book is very useful and can be bought through www.timeform.com. Bet Brain's service is superb and is a must for anyone wishing to place a futures bet. I believe there's is the most comprehensive cross section of firms in the business quoting the likes of victor chandler from europe and vipsports form North America. VIP are about the only US firm who dont bring the average player prices down by 20%! Betbrain's service is updated very regularly |

| Great information. I have used a useful graph over at www.victorchandler.com and click on the sports info and scroll down to golf. They have the player results for the past 4 or five tournaments and the history at that week's event, pretty useful.

| Betbrain not only has outright but it seems a start of match odds also, they only have one listed now, but maybe its a test. TA

| Thanks for the heads up guys ![]() Quick question about BetBrain. I didn't know they were covering golf outrights until I read it here, but is this week typical? It is Wednesday morning and they don't have the odds posted. Most books will have had lines out by yesterday at the latest. By the time they do post the odds comparison all the value will have gone out of the market. I have contacted them and we're keen to set up the BetBrain system to be integrated into my site for the golf prices, but I'm not sure how much worth it will be if the prices are not posted until Wednesday. Any knowledge of previous golf prices? |

| Stanley they have been pretty crap up to now and I can tell you from previous experience they make loads of mistakes which they blame on the bookies eg 50/1 Michael Schumacher to win the Australian Grand Prix you would think they would check there odds before publishing still I suppose it is all done by comoputer I think in the long run Oddschecker will be the better of the two still it is now nearly 1 pm and they still have no odds up I usually check about 25 books on a monday night tuesday morning and place my own bets before these sites display there odds and the Racing Post comes out in case me and the dreaded Jeremy Chapman agree Steffen |

| Stanley, Welcome to MW, I am a fan of your site. There is no doubt Betbrain is inconsistent. I've sent multiple mails requesting various changes, they seem relatively aloof in the responses. Golf, is relatively new to them, and I'm hoping experience will eventually straighten out the problems because they sure don't seem fond of user cririques. TA
