Mantilla vs. Calatrava 1 1.5 Direcbet

I believe that Mantilla is a much better player and is currently in a good form. I don't think that Calatrava's first round win against Agassi means much.

Grosjean vs. Bruguera 2 2.7 Direcbet

Grosjean had a very good tournament in Monte Carlo. I saw a couple of his matches there and he looked very impressive. Still I don't think high odds on Bruguera are justified.

Let's count units.

To make calculations easier, each bet will be worth 10 units, unless specified otherwise.

So after yesterday I am 5 units down.

Now to today's matches.

Grosjean vs. Vinciguerra 1 1.55 Intertops

I was very impressed by the way Grosjean played in Monte Carlo.And nice win against Bruguerra, although I wish it were the other way around.

I don't believe in Vinciguerra on clay at the moment.

Mantilla vs. Lapentti 2 2.2 Direcbet

It seems like Lapentti is getting in form on clay. Two good wins against good clay court players Gaudio and Coria.

On the other hand it looks like Mantilla has passed the peak of his form. Not very impressive score against Calatrava.

Anyway Lapenti @2.2 looks good for me.

Federer vs. Ferreira 1 1.66 Direcbet

Federer played very well in Monte Carlo and his win against Safin suggests he is still in a good form. He may be tired after two long matches, but I love the odds on him.

Actually, Federer @1.66 is scalpable.

Not a good day yesterday. Lapentti saved me from a complete disaster.

So far -13 units after 5 bets (each bet 10 units).

Because of rain several matches are not completed, so only two quarterfinals are determined already and I can see odds posted only for Vinciguerra - Levy match.

Levy @2.5 looks tempting, but I probably won't bet today.

Ferrero vs. Lapentti 2 3.5 Olympic

I think Lapentti has a chance.

Ferrero's results this week look very impressive, but I believe that Lapentti's opponents were much stronger.

Also Ferrero had several close matches with good clay court players this clay court season. Two three set matches with Mantilla, three sets with A.Costa, five sets with Moya, lost to Blanco... We will see.

By the way, look at this line at Olympic: Ferrero 1.36 Lapentti 3.5

It is about 2% theoretical hold. Has anybody seen anything like this in tennis before?
