Valdes (1-1, 2.14 ERA L3) is pitching better than Sparks (1-2, 8.00 ERA L3). Anaheim the much hotter team here (7-3 L10 vs DET 2-8 L10). Anaheim is hitting righties, Detroit is not.

Philadelphia -129

I like Daal's chances here. Phils are 7-3 L10 while MIL is 3-7.

Seattle -142

Garcia (2-1, 2.38 ERA L3) vs. Castillo (0-2, 15.95 ERA L3) is no contest.

Tampa Bay +240

Without Tino's homer last nite, the Yanks would have lost to the Devil Rays. Everyone is on the Yanks tonight as they are 21-3 when Clemens starts. But Tampa Bay is 4-0 in Wilson's 4 starts since he came back as a starter. After spending 5 weeks working relief, he has started 4 games, working 21.1 innings giving up just 3 runs -- all 3 to BAL, holding MN, Chisox and ANA scoreless.
NY still isn't scoring so I'll take a chance with TB, and with Sportsbank away I won't get in trouble with her going against her Yanks.

Had heart & 4-teamer broken by Jeff Shaw late last night.

i had a great first half of the season. cutting my plays back as i feel myself slipping. getting geared for ncaa football.

all my plays will be for one unit, with units based on $100

1-1 yesterday (-$40)

phillies -135 over milwuakee......omar daal way, way overdue for a win and
phillies playing alot better. after falling behind braves by three games, they
now have a two game lead. lets see if they have that killer instinct they
need to win the division.

cleveland -160 over minnesota......twins really struggling with the bats
right now. i think they can feel the division slipping away. they may have to
start thinking wildcard right about now. tribe to much offense for the
struggling twins.
